If i was Malone......i would go to LA ........do what Clyde Drexler did with Houston!  Drexler couldnt do it with portland and finally he went with Hakeem and BANG!!! he got his ring!!
Malone is good.....but he needs to leave Utah if he really wants at least a ring!!!  Hopefully he won't bust a Barkley and join tooo late!!!

Yeah, he does that like every summer, but.. for real.. Utah is dead, and they already have a sensation to replace him, Kirilenko. So maybe this will be the right time, who knows. I really hope so. The best center ever with the best power forward ever with the most sensational SG ever (i mean.. at 23 years old, with 3 rings).... and.. mmmmm.. best team ever? Lakers def need a PF, so Malone will start, but he'll have Horry on his back. That's a great situation for Malone.

PLUS... SURE RING! ;)

Would be a Mad move, but wouldn't Malone be a bit lost without stockton they like a machine together.

Also isn't Malone getting old now?  Retirement must be coming along for him soon?

Would make an awesome Lakers team though.

we'll see next year...and than youll remember Sccit was the first one too tell yall, and youll regret not beliving me...

Why wouldnt they pic him up? He was probably a free agent and he didnt want to end his career without a ring, so he decided "where should I go? hmm, I know...The greatest team in NBA history...the Lakers. Now I can finally get a ring and retire in peace"...I mean the Lakers do need a Power Forward, and if they dont, they'll just keep him as a back-up like they did with Mitch Richmond (which I highly doubt since nobody is qualified to start over Malone)...

Utah has the talent to get a ring, they just dont do it, they went all the way in 97' and fell short.. plus, i doubt Karl Malone will go to the damn lakers, shit, take SHAQ from the lakers and no more rings.. LAKERS BEST TEAM IN NBA HISTORY???? i think not, if any team its the Boston Celtics or the Chicago Bulls

Those things are ridicule. For sure "new" players are better than players of the past. Look at.. i dont know... 100 meters run. Today's runners are better than past runners. But that's normal. It will always be like that. Always better, always more close to perfection. About basketball, a 18 years old of today can be better than a veteran of 30 years ago (Kobe at 23 is 300x better than Michael Jordan at 23).

So how can you compare Celtics of 60-70 to the Lakers of 2002? I mean.. that's not possible. It's not possible to compare Shaq with Russell. Big Shaq today against the Russell of several years ago = no contest. Tecnical KO after 2 mins. Slam after slam.

So you cant really compare 2 teams who played in 2 different era's, IMO. Bulls vs those Lakers? Shaq vs Wennington? Or today's Kobe vs Jordan. You cant do it, man.

CELTICS ruled. BULLS ruled. LAKERS ruled. And now they rules again. Simple as that.

There was more competition back then, then there was now... just ask Charles Barkely, besides how can you even compare Jordan to Kobe when Kobe took Jordan's game?
01-02 LAL, 25.2 PPG.. KOBE is 23 now
86-87 CHI, 37.1 PPG.. When JORDAN was 23
Lakers werent winning championships without PHIL JACKSON...
'92 Bulls vs '02 Lakers, '92 Bulls by a landslide

Naw man.. points doesnt mean a thing! Cut O'Neal from Lakers and Kobe was the best scorer of the last 3 seasons with 40 points a game! It's all about having the winning mentality! Jordan didnt have it as a rookie, 23. Kobe got it now, with 3 titles. It's not that Phil Jackson wins the game alone. He helps the team having the right attitude and mentality.

Kobe was 19 without Phil Jackson. He's the main reason why Lakers won the titles in the last 3 years IMO. Cause 3 years ago it was SHAQ SUPERSTAR + good players. Now that Kobe is a SUPERSTAR too = titles. IMO.

Naw, totally wrong. LAKERS doesnt really need a PF. I mean.. SHAQ is the man! So.. even Samaki Walker is ok for us! And if Samaki is ok, what about Malone?

Ewing was a dead man walking when he signed with Seattle. And he was the only decent in the middle. So.... problems!

How can you say Jordan doesnt have a winning mentality, when he says "If you dont play to compete, then dont play at all"... and trust me on this one, KOBE wouldnt have NO rings if SHAQ wasnt around.. and yes points is everything, scoring wins games along with defense.. ALSO WERE "KOBE SUPERSTAR" + SHAQ SUPERSTAR winning titles when Del Harris was coach? i think not.. so without Phil Jackson, they are also nothing..

I was talking about Jordan at 23. And the same MJ admitted he cared only about dunks and stats than about the team and about winning the games. At 23!

Obviously. But it's the same with Jordan and Pippen and the rest of the Bulls. Nobody can win alone.

LOL. So Iverson is the MVP of this season?

In fact i said Jackson trasformed the 19 years old Kobe to a superstar. And 2 superstars = title. No, titles! Sorry.

when did Jordan get his rings? OH yea when Pippen and Jackson got in to town.  They were alot of help.  Its all Phil's way of coachin big superstars, and gathering them together.  If Phil would have went to the Knicks, i wouldnt be surprise that Knicks would have at least 2 rings, and the lakers would have kept on chokin.
