Lucky bastards. Every time you get a piss easy draw.
-
no game in the champs league is easy.
-
We're always first seeds. As we're the second best team in the ten or so years of the Champions League. The only thing that makes your draw hard is where the matches are played, not the actual teams you play. And remember when we drew Bayern Munich, Barca and Brondby? That was a good year.
-
so jay what ya think of our chances of winnin the champions league?
-
We need a good draw when we get to the second round. We have trouble over two legs. Deportivo are the only team we've beaten over two legs since we won it. A decent draw will get us going over two legs. Upsets will happen this year now the format has changed. In the past, two group stages made sure that over 12 games the top teams would come out. Now with only one group stage and staigh into knockouts we'll see some suprises.
Squad wise, we're going in with a more stable squad than last year. A Ruud injury would finish us though. Ronaldo will thrive in Europe, much more space, and one thing foreign defenders hate is pace.
I think we'll get to the final.
Arsenal will struggle as usual, they have no-one of any real quality to partner Vieira in the centre of midfield.
I don't have a clue about Chelsea.
-
Champions league will be briliant in the knock out stage, cup football is what the game is all about, no 11 men behind the ball for 90 minutes at Highbury, teams will need away goals, Arsenal play cup football as well as anyone in Europe, we'll carve sides apart more often in Europe this season, i cant wait.
-
wot :o :o :o
shits changed from how it was last year?!?!?! someone explain..............
oh n yeah i think we go in with a stronger squad than last year to, i think we'll get far.........chelsea with either flop or be brilliant imo
-
There's no second group stage
The second round will be 8 knockout matches
-
oh shhiiiiit i didnt know that, only adds to the excitement really tho
