Political rapper Paris, who has been speaking his mind on the state of the world for over a decade, is back on the scene now with his newest record. Sonic Jihad brings us the Bushkilla back in a time where he's much needed. Close minded listeners may not feel Paris, but those who know how it's really going down and aren't scared of provocative and deep raps, THIS IS FOR YOU!
The beats are pretty old school, reminding you of his 1994 classic Guerilla Funk, and Paris sounds just as powerful and hard as he did back then. After listening to it for a couple days now, I must say this is a MUST BUY, you get something for your money, it's not on some "Move your body shake your ass" typa shit, it's reality, it's something deeper than all of that.
He got the perfect artists to feature on his record too, Dead Prez, Public Enemy and Kam, all known for being politically active.
Sonic Jihad drops September 23rd, and as many stores will be too scared to carry the record with the controversial cover, you can simply hit up Paris' official website, guerillafunk.com.
