The joy & Pain in Tupac's flow & word's as a combo cannot be touched by any rapper living or dead. {and never will}

Right now the best lyricists are Ras Kass, Crooked I, Sly Boogy, Planet Asia, Roscoe, and Xzibit. Yukmouth has definitely elevated his shit as well. He deserves a honorable mention.

yeah yukmouth should definitely be in there. it was some of the other people i was about to question. and 2pac is great but putting a dead man in any competition is a no-no (simply because peeps would vote for him regardless).

umm...ida definetely takin c-bo and spice off that list. Didnt Spice-1 used tah have sumbody write his lyricz anywayz? I dunno...

but umm, ida added E-40 tah that list. He uses a ton of slang n all...but also a ton of metaphors. People dont consider him a lyricist, cus they dont understand it...

oh, and like alotta others said...that list is only out of some more mainstream artists. Jayo is tight, but he aint even tha best lyricist in SD.

It's Ice Cube.

How can you put Crooked I as the best westcoast lyricist of all-time without him even releasing an album?  (and this question has to be "best westcoast lyricist of all-time " since 2Pac is on it.)

BTW, 2Pac really isn't even a lyricist.

I'm pretty sure it ain't best all-time. If it is then my bad. But no one can deny that Crook is a beast on the mic. He's straight siccness.

Well if it's the current best lyricist then I have no clue how 2Pac could be considered.

Damb You Put Spice One, C Bo, Jayo Felony Before Xzibit, Krondon, Planet Asia, Saffir, Del The Funky Homosapian, Hieroglyphics, etc.  Do Your Homework Dude.
