A rapper is judge on impact, skillz, influince, originality, longivity and much more what is he saying, and other shit. Rakim I think, had as much skillz, if not more, than Crooked I. Listen to The Book of Life CD on the 18th Letter double disc. Hell, listen to almost everything everything Rakim has put out since 1986 with Eric B for President. Rakim had the skillz, and had a message. Crooked I has lots of skillz, don't get me wrong, but he can talk loud all he can, it makes no difference if he ain't saying a damn thing. It's like giving speeches, some guys are the loudest people, and some are very poetic when they talk. But is what they are saying ain't going no where, then basically you are hearing nothing. When Crooked I drops an album, well hear what he is saying. But until then, his like the guy shouting on the corner trying to get people to listen, and when we turn to him, it'll be interesting to se what he says.
