have the same bass line if you listen to them at some points they sound exactly the same and he gettin sued for the bass line on lets get high just something i caught

i heard dre jacked the beat for lets get high from fatback - backstroken. anybody have that song?

friends of mine picked up on this and made me realize that the beats for "Not Today" by Mary J. Blige, "Lookin at me" by warren G, and "Put it on me" wit Quik sound very similar

No. The same / similar bass sound is used. Let's Get High "samples" (jacks) opening bassline from Backstrkoin by Fat Back

yeah Put It On Me & Lookin At Me have almost the same beat IMO. I think Dre's got pretty repetitive production sometimes.

The only hip-hop producer that gets sued... lol. Oh well, and the funny thing is he samples the least.
