Snoop gets a lot of hate nowadays especially in here. I think he deserves every bit of it. My reasons
1. He's trying to control 213. It was quite obvious when i read warren g's interview that he wasn't very happy. whatever suggestions the interviewer gave him, warren would say "u should tell snoop that".
2. His ego. however busy dre might have been, he would have found time to lend snoop atleast a couple of beats for Paid tha cost... the fact that there were'nt any dre beats is probably bcoz he didint ask dre. U dont have to be great businnesman to know how far a dre beat on ur album will take u. So much for being a Bo$$
3. I hate how he acts all gangsta on tracks which he knows arent gonna get much airplay like Squeeze Play from IV Life 1.4 and put out some poppy shit on his own albums.
I had a lot of stuff i wanyed tosay but i think of it now.

In all honesty, snoops music is tight when he is westcoast... i could care less if neptunes are tight now, i want snoop flowing over dre, battlecat, meech, fredwreck, daz, warren, and any other fool on the west... eastcoast shit is played too much, he isn't being creative when he drops with the eastcoast... when he can do his own shit and get people to bump it... thats when you succeed...

Its funny because if Doggystyle never dropped, we'ed all think Snoop was a dope rapper, but we all compare Snoop Dogg to the GOAT Snoop "Doggy" Dogg, and really, theres no comparison...Im still down with Snoop to the fullest, and he makes doper music than 90% of all other artist, it just sucks watching so much potential go down the drain.....
Im hoping (and thinking) that 213 will set the record straight about Snoop and where hes at....

I dunno, for some reason, I refuse to hate on Snoop. I think I just like his style, he's charismatic. He's not the greatest rapper, but he raps like he is. And not just bragging, just BEING. Nobody else sounds like him, so nobody can touch that shit. As long as he's not 100% wack, he's still tolerable. Most of the time, his stuff is at least competant, and add on the cool drawl and his charisma, and usually it's a cool song. Plus, he always looks like he's having a good time. He's all laid back and relaxed, I'm sick of seeing people jump around like they're on crack (*cough dmx *cough).

i agree with u with the acting "crip and gangsta" and then comin back with poppy shit, i mean either your one or the other
honestly he has lost more fans than gained, especially on here (telling from this post)
but i think there are several reasons why he doesnt mess with the westcoast or Dre in particular
1. he doesnt work with Dre because all his career it has been dre and snoop, dre and snoop, he wants to prove that he can do it without Dre
2. he wants to expand his fanbase, he wants to appeal to the eastcoast too ( he workin with neptunes, timbaland, just blaze and even dj premier)
3. and the most important reason is $$$$$$$$$$$

snoop sold out plain and simple. he does whatever brings him the money. if that means collaborating with limp bizkit for some wack ass track then he will do it. snoop does have a good flow right now, but in most of the songs nowadays the song gets ruined due to shitty production (from tha chuuch to tha palace) or shitty ass guests (take your pick)

Rapping over a westcoast produced beat doesn't make you westcoast. In what way does snoop dogg represent the westcoast? he doesn't and hasn't for years now. The dude will jump on any track where the $ is. He isn't gonna put the west back on the map or any bullshit like that. Same goes for Dre.
