Maybe I forgot or something, but what was his beef with him?
I'm reading the XXL with the breakdown of how The Don Kiluminati (The 7 Day Theory) was made and Young Noble was saying:
"He got that concept (for "Me And My Girlfriend") from Nas. Remember Nas did that song about the gun? 'Pac used to like that song. When him and Nas squashed their beef, I was happy. I grew up on Nas...All the Outlawz were fans of Nas. 'Pac was too. He used to like Nas."
It Was Written came out on July 2 of that year, Pac was probably bumping that album while making this album. Then the next thing he does is call him out. What happened? I guess I can't remember.

something about Nas saying he got shot, Pac took that as disrespect cause he got shot.

'Pac mentioned that in a interview. But Nas and Suge did say they squashed the beef. I quess an Outlaw conformed it.

suge didnt say it, but an outlaw did on xxl. its pretty clear they just wanted to make nas look good though, being that 2pac dissed nas literally one day before he got shot in the death row east video.
nas never intentionally disrespected pac, he just took events that happened in pacs life and rapped about it.

jomie jomie jomie.. there has never been somethin lika war against the eastcoast from tupac's side, this neat little bullshit was founded by some ppl who didnt like pac...
nas did some bullshit indeed like bitin pac's all eyez on me beat if I remember right
you also gotta admit it may drive a nigga crazy if another rapper says he was shot, if he wasn't and you be shot lika 5 times.. it's like glorify things + takin the credits witout payin the dues..
pac maybe was a little paranoid when it comes to disses tho

Suge said it first a long time ago. guy was right, this xxl article is just confirmation.

then suge was contradicting himself. he just said pac hated nas a couple of months ago when he was bitching that he never got money off of the thugz mansion remix, and then said it was ok for jay-z to do it.

Yes. That's why 2Pac started a group called The Outlawz & did an album with The Boot Camp Click + did songs with Big Daddy Kane & Busta Rhymes, all artists from the East Coast.

That's it? That seems kinda stupid to start a beef over.

Didn't they both sample that beat anyways?
& did an album with The Boot Camp Click
What happened to this album? I heard Buckshot say that they had the rights to those songs and they paid for all the studio sessions. I thought they were going to release it.
And BTW, what did Jay-Z do or say to 2Pac to provoke the shots at him?
-
Jay-Z recorded "Brooklyn's Finest" with Biggie, in which I believe Pac was referred to
-
yeah, biggie dissed pac on the song with jay-z, brooklyn's finest
-
i think pac just lost it a lil and just snapped out on people a lil harsh and was unreasonable.

Nas
I am not sure how this rivalry started but on The 7 Day Theory at the beginning in Bomb First (My Second Reply) 2Pac identifies Nas as the ring leader in an attempt to assinate 2Pac. Nas totally bites 2Pac in the way he raps and he portrays himself out to be a Thug just like 2Pac. Nas saying how he got shot just like 2Pac and in the video for "Hate Me Now" him and Puffy are totally disrespecting Pac by being Crucified at the beginning just like the cover of The 7 Day Theory, they also dress like 2Pac did and pour out the liquor like Pac and Dre did on the California Love Remix. Nas used to diss 2Pac all of the time but since he has died Nas has showed Tupac respect in his interviews.

I did a project for school about 2Pac and I can recall Nas dissed 2Pac in "The Message".

When Suge first got outm he mentioned that, and then after the Thug Mansion (remix) he changed his story. Suge just uses 'Pac's name for his own advantage.
