he won, clear cut... just like george foreman said
" i dont know what fight the judges were watching, but it sure wasn't this one... its a sad day for boxing"
he clearly won, absolutely clearly won... DE LA HOYA OUT PUNCHED HIM IN EVERYTHING...EVERYTHING! From totaly punches, to total jabs and even power punches, he beat him, and not by a little, he drastically out punched mosley... mosley only had a better percent of power punches to total punches... which is not how you win a match, if you saw it, you would see, de la hoya whooped on the little man

Although De La Hoya clearly won, I was routin' for my nigga Mosley so I'm happy. Mosley should've won anywayz. That nigga had so many damn opportunities to end it.
-
Why im glad Mosley won is because
De La Hoya can fight each round throwing just
a few shots.
And most of the time he gets the judges vote.
But they went for the guy who was the most attack minded in this 1
-
This was a horrible decision. :(
-
this was a judges way of telling Oscar u cant win a fight with pure jabs and backing away i guess...oh well :-\
it is boxing by the way

-
I missed it. I got there first fight on tape. I love to see them fight again. I heard this last fight was off the chains. Oh well, maybe I can catch the replay somewhere. Oh yeah, Pomona homies, I.E. over L.A. all day everyday.

my whole family including me had De La Hoya winning ....if anything the fight should've been a draw cuz like someone said mosely did win the later rounds....mosely got lucky. but yeah oscar WON THE TOTAL FIGHT.
bullshit, i hope he doesn't retire
he is appealing this decision though, so i'm glad about that.
and FUCK vargas
-
That was bullshit, De La Hoya clearly won...those judges are retards... >:(

first off, IF he got rob....itz kinda ironic. Almost...Justice, for all the times he's been handed fights in Vegas, *Pernell Whitaker coems to mind immediately* lol.
As for tha fight...i was surprised at first. But then at tha same time, i can see where tha judges might have thought Mosley won. De La Hoya definetely landed more punches. BUT, he NEVER hurt Mosley once. Mosley, more then once...had De La Hoya in a position where he could jumped on him and definetely knocked him down. I was jus pissed cus Mosley wasnt throwing enough punches. If he woulda jus stayed more active, he would have DEFINETELY dominated tha fight. He was FAR stronger then De La Hoya, and his punches had WAY more effect. Like they said, all 3 judges thought he won...4 out of 5 writers at ringside thought he won. De La Hoya alwayz getz handed victories in Vegas...he cant cry.

this is what I said Daygo...but according to people u can just win a fight with just jabs and no power punches
Ike Quartey really whooped on Oscar...except the 11th and 12th round.
-
I feel sorry for people in Vegas who bet huge money on Oscar because they really got screwed out of their winnings... :-X
-
some one brought up a good point to me
it depends on how you look at it........
if you're looking at it from the tech side of it.....Oscar clearly CLEARLY won this shit.......put aside what or who shoulda beat him...he won this shit this time
or if you're looking at it from a street point of view...who was more fucked up. hoya was looking bad, and mosely was still looking clean
i guess the judges were thinking street

^^alotta judges take that into account too. Not jus how beat up u look, but also...the effect of punches. Mosely landed far less punches then De La Hoya, but did WAY more damage then De La Hoya did. So what does that say for De La Hoya's punching power? He also didnt land a lot of CLEAN punches, except for tha jab. They both hurt themselves in tha fight anywayz. Oscar jus quit jabbing in the middle rounds, he was hardly even active after round 6...and Mosely caught way up. Also Mosely's body shotz might have slowed him down. But Mosely shoulda been punching more throughout the WHOLE fight. His skills, to me....are FAR superior to De La Hoya...he just didnt throw punches! Anyways, i was hopin for a third fight...in LA....but it aint gonna happen.

i just saw this fight last night, i dont know what the big deal was...oscar deserved a draw at best...nothing more. i noticed the announcers were giving oscar more credit than he actually deserved. i know oscar threw more punches, but i didnt see most of them hitting mosley. the ones that did hit him did not affect mosley. i think this was the right decision
