Connected site WorldWideConnected.com just droped a huge Daz update. He is currently in Atlanta working on his first release of two on his new label. After releasing those two albums, the plan is that Daz will start his own Arista-distributed label.
Daz is back to producing after a long break lasting almost a year. He'll produce about half of his own album while JD, Red Spyda and possibly The Neptunes will produce the other half of it. Guests on the album this far is Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Lloyd Banks and the new super-group DPG-Unit. Janet Jacksson might show up on the album too. Speaking of DPG-Unit, the group has recorded around 8 tracks while being on the road, but has no plans of releasing an album in a near future.
Daz is also gonna produce for artists like Busta Rhymes, Memphis Bleek and Killer Mike. He will also produce for label mates on So So Def and Arista, possibly Outkast, Usher and Toni Braxton.
Jermaine Dupri and Daz shot a video for their freestyle track titled "Fa Sho". Fans can expect to see it soon.
Daz is also making moves with his own record company/companies. One of Dillinger's labels, Gangsta Advisory, is dropping the Death Row Killa movie October 8th, followed by the Death Row Killa album in December. After that, G.A. will release a Lil C Style album. An album is also in the works from Tha Twinz.
As you see...Dat Nigga Daz is doing big things right now!

great to hear but i'm kinda dissipionted with the production for the daz album....half daz is great a few jd cuts ain't bad, a red spyda track would be cool, but i don't think the neptunes would fit well with daz although its still is a smart move to get them......where i'm dissipionted is where is fred wreck? soopa? maybe meech or battlecat i'm sure all this is just speculation for now anyway though

Fred Wreck I think will definetely be involved somehow if not a co-producer or engineer.

Damn, a lot of you are hypocrites. First you hate on niggaz like Dre and Snoop for not workin' with our own West Coast artists, and now you're happy with the idea of Daz joinin' So So Def and workin' with JD, as well as artists like Memphis Bleek, Killer Mike, and Janet Jackson. Wow.
