An honest question.
Has anyone lost interest or gained any since the anouncment of Daz & SoSo def? {SoSo Gangsta}
Been a Daz fan since 92'..
It's hard for me to gain any interest whatsoever in this one tho.
Last I heard he's doing a "I get around" remake... :P
guess peep's hate on Ja, then turn around and kiss the same ass...lol
Since then.....More people have recorded or re-made track's with Pac than ever before.
Alway's stated Daz has been my favorite member of DPGC {including Snoop}
but at this point, I'm more hyped over a Kurupt cd..
cause u know he might have something to say on his album.
a messega a reply....some getback.
Dillinger on the other hand.... :-\
latley his stuff has been kinda SoSo.
and ramblin' about how Gangsta/and what good friend's he is with 50.
oh well...we'll see.
ImO {A long time Dat N...a Daz fan}

Hes been doing a lot of freestyles over a peopeles beats. they been playing some of his shit on the felli fell show when hes in the mix. I think he might release some type of mixtape before he releases his album.
-
If what I read was true, that his guests will be Monica, Janet Jackson, Killer Mike, etc., then hell nah I ain't lookin' forward to that shit. However, I will admit that I'm actually feelin' JD as a producer. Who knows...might be pretty good.
-
of course I'm looking forward to it, no matter what label it comes out on. So So Def is a good label anyway so it's all good.
-
NO
-
I can't say I'm hyped about it. I like JD's beats and I like Daz's delivery, but I am not even feelin his beats much anymore. His last album was my favorite album from him, but only because of the production, which he wasn't even a part of. And if he is rappin to JD's beats, I can't say I'm too excited. However, if he is droppin G shit to soopafly and fred wreck beats, and he is bein promoted by JD, I'm for it.
-
i actually am... iv been feelin Daz alot lately and always have but this cd im lookin forward 2 but i really dont think all those guests will b on it
-
i definetly am, daz said the productions gonna be done by him and soopafly, so its got to be tite, ive never heard a song by them that wasnt good.

Well if Soopafly's involved, I'll be picking up his album the day it drops! If JD handles the production, then who knows. Jermain Dupri is too inconsistent for me.
-
I'm looking forward to it because I'm a longtime Daz fan, BUT the JD involvement is bugging me. I cant stand that goofy little leprechaun. He ruined those 2 new daz joints with his crappy ad-libs, and to be honest i havent felt dudes beats since kriss kross. so yea, this could go either way but right now im sceptical.
-
I bet people are hating on Daz for signing with JD. He(JD) ripped two of their idols, so you know they're still bitter about that. I like the idea of Daz signing with JD. JD been tearing it up on the boards. That beat for the Murphy Lee single is better than anything Dre has put out this year.

i actually like jermaine somewhat, money aint a thang was one of my favorite songs back then and he can make a dope ass beat. i even give him more props for showing daz the proper respect. but to say jd beat xzibit dre or eminem is a fucking joke. even so so def fans thought that his shit was pathetic

Two Idols. Xzibit is not one of them. Dre and Em are who I was talking about. JD made Em look like a foo at the end of his jam. And, Dre, well all he said was JD was short. JD clowned him something awful.
-
IM not really to "hyped" about the new Daz...but i'll listen to it
and can anyone share the lyrics to the song where JD ripped EM and Dre?
-
lol JD never ripped Em or Dre but its a good move for Daz
-

i have to agree jd suprised me big time with his diss to dre...i thought it was funny when he said that shit about i heard you like niggas playin wit your booty hole or whatever
whoever said the thing about jd ruining songs with ad libs is damn right jd can make bomb ass beats like welcome to atlanta, murphy lee beat but he fucks to many of his beats up by talking
btw it'll be interesting to hear daz and mike deans beats on there
-
Em would destroy JD so badly it ain't even funny. I already admitted JD was a sicc producer, but he fuccin' succs cocc at rapping. And I disagree about the Murph beat. I wasn't feelin' it at all. And it doesn't compare at all to the beats for "Shit Hits The Fan" or "Look In My Eyes". And what about "In Da Club" ?
-
JD SICC BUT DAZ IS A TRICC ASS MARC NHC BUSSTA ,UNTIL HE LIVES AND GROW UP OUT HERE IN DA REAL LAND OF DA SKANLESS U CANT SPEEK ON SHIT BITCH! DAZ A NHC N FUCC HIS ASS ALL HE DOES IS RIDES ON WHOS HOT,THE NIGGA 50 CENT WONT WORC WITH DAZ CUZZ DAZ SUCC NUTTS TO GET PUT ON,HE PROBLY SUCCIN JD DICC RIGHT NOW,
SUGA BEAR NEEDS TO SHUT THIS CLOWN UP
IM OUT
-
Hey SGV, you are OK with me man, so why don't you share some of that shit you are smoking 8). It must be some potent shit. Anyway, I think Daz and JD are an odd combination and it's hard to tell how it will come out. Daz was at his best way back on the Doggfood album and has been inconsistent every since. Who knows, maybe JD can bring Daz's focus back. Daz reminds me of your favorite basketball player who scores 30 one night and 8 or 9 the next night. He still has a lot of talent especially behind the boards.
-
Im looking forward to it...
The first 2 Daz N JD tracks I heard were both dope, and if Soopaflys getting down its only gonna get better IMO.
-
I'm looking forward, looks promising. I can't wait to hear that joint with Redman. BTW, Red's been collabing with Snoop & them lots lately. Wonder why?
-
What did Dre say that made him win? Not a damn thing. What did Em say? Nothing. JD made them look like fools and all he made was one track. Em had a freestyle, a track with Dre and a track with Xzibit. They had to have three foos go at one guy who ain't even a skilled emcee? Haha. That's laughable shit. For what JD is capable of, he surpassed it and then some. Dre called him short, big deal. He pointed out Dre's "ghost production," which isn't done on record very often. He made Em seem like an idiot for dissing Pop acts. And so on. Just facts.

true i think overall the aftermath is much more talanted but they didn't win the battle they just looked kinda dumb dissin jd who ain't even on there level..............and jd 's song was pretty tight....x's freestyle was a good diss though with the short people deserve to die
i honestly think if the battle kept going aftermath could have won but they ended it and they didn't win
