for polyphonic ring tones its simple midi files so if you have webspace and have midi files just upload them and use your internet on your phone and download the file by typing in the url of where the file is hosted thats how i do it and it works perfectly and i dont have to pay no 2 bucks for each song

im sure they do every company does it differently too because they want you to pay for the ringtones...but if you do it like i do it ends up free pretty much because all your paying for is your internet plan on your phone other than that its free as long as you can find the midi files.....im pretty sure that even virizon phones use midi files as there ringtones if they are polyphonic meaning that they can just download the file like i said or else pay the 2 bucks per song over the internet services that charge you.

they are midi files but verizons internet doesnt allow you to download. you use an entirely different feature called "get it now" which some phones are equipped with and others (like ACGrundy's) arent...the only way AC could get ringtones would be to see if there is a link cable available for a kyocera to go from his phone to the computer and then download them like that...it still may not work that way...kyocera's are pieces of shit (no offense).

there is no way to search the web on verizon? because as long as you can type in somethin like this "http://homepage.mac.com/ejrizo/" you should be able to get the midi files...you work there i dont im just asking thats fucked up if you cant do that if thats the case.....

it doesnt have an option to download anything unless you have the get it now function. you can type in whatever webpage you want but it doesnt necessarily mean it will work to get on to it...for instance i cant get on to www.thugpoetry.com but i can get to www.tqfans.com ....so its kind of odd that way.

i hate to tell ya but verizon is the best service out there...they have the best coverage, the best phones, and just as bad of customer service as any of the others...their prices are just as good too (except t-mobile...they have amazing prices but they are the worst service i've ever had...that shit is horrible)
