damn this was one of those movies that when u leave the movie theatre u go..WOW i wanna see see this shit again. It is very intense, mind blowing, funny, just amazing.
The House of Blue Leaves- :o :o :o
-
CRAZY 88's! Go-Go is the shit!

I liked it alot, but it kind of dissapointed me. Quentin's a genius, but I think he's more like a comfortable genius, LOL. I didn't see anything just mindblowing, it was just a pretty solid Quentin movie, you could see his influence in the script, I know that's for sure. Uma talked like it was him talking or something, lol. The fight scene in the house of blue leaves was awesome, but not quite as kewl as I had expected. Go Go was probably one of the most interesting characters.
Anybody else catch Uma do the Mia Marsallis "square" thing with her hand near the beginning of the movie? LOL that was a neat little addition.
I'm hoping Volume 2 just has some big surprises and plot twists, that bring up the value of the whole series. I'd say A- on the movie, good, but didn't blow me away.

well I just thought it was mind blowing because he just used camera tricks to film this movie, no CGI. and the anime was pretty damn good too

im a shmuck, i dint see it yet, and i wanted to see it on opening day, i got drunk and partied instead
-
this movie was alright in my opinion...the only thing i liked was the way Tarantino filmed it. the action/fight scenes were what i expected, but in between those scenes (as i did in the matrix) i became somewhat bored. i went into this movie thinking it was going to be one of the better movies i've seen in a while, it wasnt. maybe i'll have to watch it again. and i'll probably be watching volume 2 when that comes out
i did enjoy his choice of music throughout the movie though, anyone notice the "east coast west coast killas" sample "Ironside"?
and yeah i did notice the little "square" reference uma thurman did ;)

Peep how this guy flipped "Bang Bang" from the opening credits of the movie:

Go to his music section and look for the title "Bang Bang".

dope ass movie, best I have seen all year. the action was great, and the house of blue leaves may be the best fight scene I have ever seen in a movie. can't wait for vol 2.
-
Just saw it today at last and I was verrrry impressed. Acting, cinematography, music, everything was right on the money.
I've stayed away from the movie theatre for a while as there has been so much crap out all summer, so i was expecting a lot from this, and it delivered 100%. Cant wait for Vol. 2. Bang bang

Agreed. Actually, add Once Upon a Time in Mexico for me. But Kill Bill comes out on top. Nothing short of
