Title: Daz productions...
Post by: gFuNkA on October 12, 2003, 11:28:19 AM
what are your favourite Daz productions outside the death row era?

i have to say his best work as a producer can be found on TITLIL and Dillinger & Young Gotti where he was working with Mike Dean. dont feel his latest productions that much. i would like to hear some more "Mission Cleopatra" or "Gitta Strippin" or "Ain't That Somethin'" type of beats by him.

Can't Stop That Gangsta Shit is produced by Soopafly.

Daz can still hook up some dope tracks, just not as consistantly as he did on Death Row.

Dillinger & Young Gotti, no doubt... his beats are almost on the level of Dogg Food or All Eyez On Me.

But in terms of his whole career, Daz hit the peak with his five beats on AEOM for me. If you listen to that album in isolation and disregard the producers' work on other records, the man outshines everyone else on that album, including Dre.

dilli and young gotti are the only beats I like of his outside of dr.  and I consider the beats made for RAW when he was on dr.
