Title: Warren G on TQ album
Post by: mauzip on October 26, 2003, 01:55:23 AM
TQ featuring Warren G - Our Life

This Damizza produced track will be on TQ's upcoming album Gemini. It was supposed to be on TQ's last album The Second Coming, but it never made it to the final cut for some reason.

Listen to a snippet here (http://www.thugpoetry.com/tq/sounds/ourlife.rm).

Lovin this snippet, had it for a while now.......i thought warren produced this, guess not.  GOtta say though, this song cant possibly end up tighter than THe Grind with TQ and Warren....

Yo Mauzip, since you seem to have te full track, does warren actualy rap another verse or just the intro part?

yep he raps another verse  ;) 8) ;D

i would say that this track is actually way tighter than the grind....

"1, 2, 3 nigga/
ya just struck out/
now im the little homie takin yo OG clout/
callin shots in the hood/
it feels real good/
keepin homies on a positive mission it feels good/
no more jacks/
no more cracks/
money in a market fund bustin raps/
y2k, y2cool, when that shit jump off/
we actin a fool"

I hope "Gemini" sounds like this in a whole and not that r&b stuff we have heard a million times.

I actually don't agree with that :P I'll never get sick of The Grind, but you don't wanna hear Our Life all day long ;) Still one of TQ's best songs though ;D

from what we've heard so far all 4 songs we've got from it are pretty different...i remember and our life could kind of be categorized the same...the ghetto is more traditional R&B...keepitonthelow is the general cash money bullshit...i think the album will be awesome though.
