Spice 1 has been hard workin' on his new album "The Ridah", which has been pushed back multiple times because of, yes you guessed right, label politics. He says himself "As you get older, you get smarter too, so you don't fall for the same old tricks again these fuckin' labels try to play with the artists. They get you in a deal, give you no up front money, and fuck you over. I ain't havin' that no more, that's why alot of these labels are scared of established artists who know what's really goin' on."
The Bossalini has still not decided which label he's gonna go with, he pointed out that the deal with 101 Distribution is NOT completed, and they had no right to advertise his album yet. "Them muthafuckas don't have nothin' yet, all they got is a cover, nothin' is signed.". So stay tuned to dubcnn as we'll keep you updated with any new happenings.
Also, for everybody who's heard the new 2Pac album "Ressurection", remember that track 3, called One Day At A Time which features Eminem and the Outlawz and an Eminem beat originially was recorded with Spice 1, and the same thing goes for the song Fame, off Pac's last album Better Dayz. The original version of Fame was with Spice 1 and Kokane. Both of these tracks were changed and released without asking Spice 1 (or Kokane).
