I know that Pharcyde are from the west coast, but I got 0 replies when I posted this there, and I'm guessing that outbound is likely to include more people who are into this type of hiphop. Basically I really like the songs of the Pharcyde that I have heard, and I was wondering what the rest of you consider to be their best album cause I really wanna pick one of their albums up.

I picked up Labcabincalifornia about a week ago & it's fucking dope. 4.5/5, blew my mind. That's their only album I have though.

I always find it hard to choose between Bizare Ride II and Labcabincalifornia, two pure hip hop classics, if i had to choose id say Labcabin. The 'Chapter One EP' was tight aswell but 'Plain Rap' wasn't all that. Tre's solo was wack aswell imho.

it to me. that was 3-4 years ago.

If you want the best of the Pharcyde, Get "cydeways" The Best Of Pharcyde, it has all their singles and some unreleased tracks as well

Bizarre Ride is amazing album. Very much a Westcoast classic. But LabCabin isnt far from it. Its an great album as well. Check the track She Said. Fat Lip drops an AMAZING verse:

"I'm doin' fine" so I commence to mackin to baby to see
what's crackin So maybe I get her back at the cabin and
start attackin Threw back a shot of yack and started jabber
and jibben Fibbin and adibin just to get her to my crib then
We was chilling on the bed bumpin some Isley thought I was
about to spread the thighs but she surprised me when she
said "oh like that? You know I don't get down" I know my
homies gonna clown cause I let her stick around when...
I mean, that fuckin verse is so real and so damn visual!!!! As they say on the album.. "lets rip LIP!!" Dont sleep on LabCabin. Its a deeper album. It showed alot of individual growth amongs the group.

Classic ish...id say this one (for the sentimental value) although i agree labcabin was deeper lyrically ...

I did actually see Cydeways in stores, but i didn't pick it up because i hate Greatest Hits compilations cause they are nothing but a collection of songs, whereas dope albums always have a particular vibe to them. I have heard the Jay Dee remix of She Said, and yeah that is an amazing track. I'm gonna order both Bizarre Ride and Labcabincalifornia tomoz from the net, cause they both sound dope and I can't decide which one of the two to get.

Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde is a Hip Hop Classic. That shit influenced West Coast hip hop for awhile allowing other non-gangsta rap groups like Souls Of Mischief, Freestyle Fellowship, etc. to get some shine when the only West Coast acts getting exposure were gangsta rappers.
Every song is tight as fuck and there are more than enough classic songs on the album too.
"Passin' Me By" and "Otha Fish" are the best tracks.
Labcabincalifornia is a near classic (4.5/5).
