Yo man...it's a matter of stylez, And the Chicago bulls never had a strong force in the middle.
and I understand they didn't need one, because they defeated the likes of Akeem, and Ewing (in their prime)....but both of these center's at their best can't do what Shaq does to Other player's in the paint...SCARE THE FUCK OUTTA THEM!!!!!
Shaq is to dominent for any team, any era....he's a legend in the making, and his pressence alone would alter the way this game would have played out.
Give or take the Jordan 25+ point's......aiight it's a given.
Scotie Pippen would contribute his 19+.....aiight given.
But who/or what would stop Shaq?
Horace Grant?
Bill Cartwritght?
Will Perdue?
Or that other dude with a weird sounding name...lol
Nahhhh!!!! can't happen.
Shaq was only stoppable when he was young, yeah those teams got the best of him when he was on the Magic, but this is now.....Were talking the best center in the last 20 years here.
and that's not even mentioning the future Kobe...
It's even yall'......considering what both Jordan & Shaq bring.
(Legendary statis)
I think we got a good game going here...
I got the Lake show...IMO
Peace

RODMAN!!

RODMAN!!
LOL... Though a big Rodman fan, Rodman couldn't stop Shaq now. Shaq would not let Rodman get in his head like he did when Shaq was a Magic. Though in them days, Rodman was the BIG difference maker in those games. Jordan and Kobe would be classic, but Kobe now is not on Jordan's, wait like 4 years. Scottie and Fox would be good, with Scottie getting the small advantage. Horry would have a field day with any center Chicago throws, 'cause Rodman would be on Shaq, unless they put Rodman at center, and Kukocs at Power Forward, that would be tight. Harper and Fisher at the point would really be heated as both are very simular. Both are couch by Phil Jackson, so in the end it would come down to the bench. You got Steve Keir and the many centers, vs. Brian Shaw, and which ever power forward is actually starting, but not playing. In the end, Lakers in 7 games, maybe we need more games... shit it's too tough to call.

i really don't know if there was ever a team that could fuck with the bulls in their second 3-peat...they were the full package, peace.
-
Cmon now...this iz a joke lol
Bulls easily. Tha lakers havent shown tha same mental tuffness of tha Bulls in tha 90's. I cant remember tha lass time i saw ANY team in sports...that would enter tha playoffs....n basically, EVERYone watching...jus KNEW that they would not lose. Tha old Bulls...(Jordan bein tha main reason) never appeared rattled. Tha lakers still do, often. What i give them is this...theyre still young. But, tha comparison isnt deserved at ALL yet...Bulls, no doubt...
-
Old Bulls without fail one of the strongest teams ever.
Bill Cartwright v Shaq now that would be interesting, I can see Bill getting Spalding imprinted on his head there !!
Don't think anyones mentioned Jon Paxson yet, always the most missed out member of the bulls squad. Usually the shortest guy on the floor but stepped up when it mattered.

Bulls. No doubt. And in case anyone forgot, Hakeem ate Shaq alive in the finals a few years ago, (when he was with Orlando) so that argument was bogus. Plus the Bulls did hand Orlando thier ass when Shaq was with them, and in my opinion, Penny in his prime was comperable to Kobe, and they made quick work of Orlando every year in the playoffs. So like I said, DA BULLSssss.

did u read his reason? That was a younger and dare i say Thinner Shaq.

People mention Will Purdue, John Paxson, Horace Grant, but this is the second 3 peat Bulls, not the first.
Match ups: Lakers-Bulls
Point Guard: Derek Fisher - Ron Harper
Shotting Guard: Kobe Bryant - Michael Jordan
Small Forward: Rick Fox - Scottie Pippen
Power Foward: Robert Horry - Dennis Rodman
Center: Shaq O'Neal - Luc Longley
Bench: Lakers - Brain Shaw, Devone George, Tyrone Lue(2 years), Any number of power forwards or centers.
Bulls - Steve Keir, Tony Kukoc, Randy Brown, Bill Cartwritght.
The Bulls would more than likely put Rodman on Shaq, and put in Kukoc's on Horry. Either way, it's which Phil would show up. Who ever Phil will want to win, is who's going to win.

The Bulls were better on NBA Jam for the megadrive

BuLLs No Doubt

i still remember watching game six of tha 92-93 nba finals at my aunts house. Paxson hit tha game winning 3 against tha suns. That was a great series, any1 remember tha 3 ot game. Bulls were down by like 20 or 30 points going into tha 4th quater. even though they lost that game it was a great game

LAKERS!
Who would stop Shaq? At least somone on the Lakers coulda came close to stopping Jordan (Kobe)...But come on, Luc Longley? LMAO

Maybe he couldnt be STOPPED by longley...but he could be slowed down. Rememba, tha bulls had ALOTTA big men. They werent all good...but theyd have a lotta fouls to use up. and they were pretty physical. Shaq has shown that he can be stopped, because he gets so frustrated when hes not makin shots. As far as kobe...theres no way in tha fukin world Kobe could stop Jordan (frum tha 90'z). Kobe over-pursues too much on D...Jordan used to prey on defenders who did that. Big mismatch.
