I never really liked them but Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz have seemed to fall off the face of the earth. I have not heard one thing from them or about them since 1998.
-
The Nonce.

They had a joint out called Mix Tapes and they are from the West. Fools is tight. This track was off the album World Ultimate back in 1995. I still have this disk OG. Classic WC hiphop.

I got the video to that. Never knew they were West Coast
-
I got some answers for ya.
Skee-lo: He released an album a couple of years ago, "I can't stop". I don't know nothing more about him.
MC Hammer. He also released a couple of years ago, I think he turned to christian rap.
New Kids on the Block: They broke up in 94. Joe Mcintyre has released 2 cds since. Jordan Knight released a good r&b record in 99 and is about to drop his second. Danny Wood recently drop his new record after 2 instrumental hiphop albums. Jon Knight is completely out the biz and Donnie Wahlberg turned actor (The Sixth Sense, Dreamcatcher, Southie, Body Count, Boomtown sitcom).
I wanna know what's up with Richie Rich and Dru Down.
-
wat happened to Threat!? he was on "Who Dem Niggas" by Tha Alkaholiks back in '93 (one of my favorite songs)
-
Mr. Malik??? Last i heard Warren said he was in ATL but i dunno what's up wit his rap career...
Mighty Souls of Michief (i don't know much about them but they were tight, i think there still around there just all broken up now)
Yea Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz are still around i seen em on some mixtapes and some features... they need 2 drop a new album, i always thought they was tight...

Dru Down - he is still around, in the big O. he was featured on Yukmouths Godzilla. Plus his last album came out in 2001 or 2002.
Richie Rich - he is also still kickin it in the big O. He has had a few recent appearances such as a recent one on a compilation. the song is called Smoke n Fuck, and its str8 bangin.
Threat - he can be heard on a new song with tray deee and Mr. Short Khop, the name of the song is Can't Fuck Wit Us. Its a leftover from the true crime ost. I think Threat did an album with some down south company a couple of years ago.
-
Souls of Michief (i don't know much about them but they were tight, i think there still around there just all broken up now)

*all this talk about Malik* hhmmm..
He was supposed to release an album. I posted this review a while back that XXL did.. but again.. for those who missed it.. Here it is. Im thinking that this albums floating around somewhere. How else would XXL have been able to review it. They had to get a promo.

Tweedy Bird Loc - Thank God he doesn't rap anymore. Gangsters who (can't) rap don't need to touch the mic.

Slip Capone..........his album was suppose to drop in December 2002. LoL. And I Bet we're at least 6 months away from it. Too bad another West Coast talented cat gets caught up in album delays and all that bullshit. If Slip was Easty he would have an album out by now.
Same with Time Bomb. I thought LAC would make some noise in 2003. guess not

^
Jewell is now aka Ju-L she has done a lot of work with IV Life Records, but she decided not to sign, she has an album she's shopping around with a bunch of tracks from the Death Row days, and some including Dre production. I believe she may also have several she recorded while working with Slip. She is on the IV Life 'New Breed' album which will be out -hopefully- a month or so either side of the new year (probably the 'other' side now..)
-
^ she's also on the upcoming amir album ;)
-
What about Storm from The Outlawz ??
