But they brought up a good point. In the issue with .05 on the cover, they had a quote. Something close to this:
Next time you pull a publicity stunt and break one of the most coveted awards in Hip Hop, remember, you're not dissing us, you're dissing the fans. The fans are the ones that voted for you.
LMAO. Now, that is true.

Ka-Ching! 50 Cent Tops Source Awards
50 Cent cashed in at Monday night's Source Hip-Hop Music Awards, walking away with a leading three trophies.
Fiddy won Best Single (Male Artist) for "In Da Club", Best Album for his mega-selling debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin', and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
But the rap superstar didn't bother to turn up to accept the hardware--most likely because he's still smarting from an exposé Source published in its October issue which painted an unsavory portrait of him. (Source's co-owner Raymond "Benzino" Scott has been engaged in a long feud with Fiddy mentor Eminem, so the magazine might have something of an axe to grind.)
Instead, 50 Cent's longtime rival Ja Rule ended up accepting the Best Single prize on Fiddy's behalf.
Here's a list of last night's winners:
Album of the Year: Get Rich or Die Tryin', 50 Cent
Artist of the Year, Male: Nelly
Artist of the Year, Female: Lil' Kim
Artist of the Year, Group: Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz
Single of the Year, Male: "In Da Club," 50 Cent
Single of the Year, Female: "The Jump Off," Lil' Kim
Single of the Year, Group: Clipse, "Grindin"
Single of the Year, Collaboration: "Neva Scared," Bone Crusher featuring T.I. and Killer Mike.
R&B/Rap Collaboration of the Year: "Thug Lovin," Ja Rule featuring Bobby Brown
Breakthrough Artist of the Year: 50 Cent
Video of the Year: "I Don't Give a #%!" Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz featuring Mystikal and Krayzie Bone
Producer of the Year: The Neptunes
Dancehall Reggae Album of the Year: "Dutty Rock," Sean Paul
International Album of the Year: "Exit," K-OS

^^^Get your head out your ass.
Eminem won the award two years ago. He broke the award as a disrespect to the Source. The Source allows the fans to vote on the nominees, so who's he really disrespecting?
-
Who cares, I don't like 50 cent or the source, and its probably some stupid ass fagget fans that did all the voting anyways. and all those gay ass fans are a huge part of why rap music sucks nowadays. I hope they all cried like the fuckin pussies they are. and Benzino just comming up wit lame ass excuses, cause thats all he gots. he sucks at rapping, and probably (I don't know for sure, cause I didn't listen) got worked in the battle on wax w/ 50cent and aftermath.
-
Benzino aint no joke
2 of 5 RSO members are shot and the rest have been lokced up repetivley
-
BOSTON has no love for Benzino believe me

International Album of the Year: "Exit," K-OS

How the hell is Eminem disrespecting the fans? That's just another cheap way for Gay Ray to try and ruin Em's name. Although I don't think Em should've done it, it clearly shows his hatred for the Source, and not his fans.
-
Fuck the source, and Fuck their fans. Who gives a fuck who he's disrespecting?
-
I said this in the other thread, but since u didn't reply, I'll say it again...
Trauma, wtf happened to you? You used to be all clean and stuff, now you cuss every other word...I remember you used to censor out your cusswords with stars (F*ck, Sh*t, B*tch, etc)...It's like you just discovered cusswords...LoL

How the hell is Eminem disrespecting the fans?
If they voted for it and he broke it, wouldn't that be disrespect?

Nah, not IMO. Especially if they "real" Eminem fans, and know his situation with the Source, and will love him/ride his nuts no matter what.

Didn't get a chance to see the awards here in the UK. Who actually won the Best Lyricist award in the end, cause that isn't mentioned on the list of awards earlier in this thread?

he made a shittier album. That's really what the source awards are all about, who is the shittiest, that can sell the most and attract the most groupies and faggets. Seriously, when is the last time an actual dope artist won a source award that he deserved?
