hahaha great line from Ice Cube, finally someone from the west actually speaking up about that in a song.  9-1-1 is fucking SICK!

Well its a decent album.  Definately a big dissapointment, not even touching bow down.  I was hoping this would be the best album of the year for the westcoast (which it may be, but thats not saying much at all)  Keep this in mind I'm not your avg rap listener.  I'm sure this album will be successful, I'm sure it will sell well.  All three rappers bring dope raps to each song, it's mostly the beats that water it down.  I wish they would have stuck with Budd'ah and DJ Crazy Toons.  The beats are too "happy/positive/commercial" sounding for me.  Doesn't go well w/ WSC.  It has some definate bangers such as: Call 9-1-1, Potential Victems, Gangsta Nations, Lights Out.... everything else is avg imo and needs harder beats.  Again, the faggets buying music nowadays may probably luv this and it will do well...but for me personally it is dissapointing...I had very high hopes.  The Eastsidaz bootleg is def better than this imo.

What the fuck is that gonna matter?  Unless they change a lot of the beats on the final album I'm gonna have the same exact opinion.  And usually albums are the same exact as the IRC rips.  Your a fool to say this album even begins to see Bow Down.  I am no hater, I am just giving an unbiased realistic review.  Bow Down is a classic.  Cube said Terrorist Threats is better, and so did mack 10.  It is no where near as good.  WTF are they thinking?

Nice album. I didn't like it much at first but it grew on me after repeated listens. "Gangsta Nation" I think is the best song, "Call 9-1-1" "Get Ignit" & "Lights Out" is nice too. Nothing strikes me as downright bad - although there is a few average joints on there.

And unfortunately there's a LOT of weak Ice Cube verses on this shit (WAY past his prime :(), Mack 10 & WC holds it down decently though, but still the emceeing leaves a lot to be desired - they def. could have stepped their game up for this release, I think. :(

Like I said it's a good album - just nothing that stands out as AMAZING. Probably the best west coast release of 2003, but that doesn't really say much. I hope it blows up and gives the West some exposure though. :)

Expectin this to be Bow Down is like puttin the 96 Bulls back together and expectin them to win the championship.

I don't expect all that much from this album, Maybe anything between a 7-8.5 outta 10 is what I expect.

LOL @ A-Dogg

I was kinda disappointed with the album..
Not that it's wack, it's pretty good, but I expected better..

The beats wasn't all that, and they all had tracks where they sounded uninspired..
It didn't sound like they did the album to make good music on some of the tracks..  :-\

It's a pretty good album, fo' sure not as good as "Bow Down", but good though. My favourite tracks after three times of bumpin' are "Call 9-1-1", "Potential Victims" and "Don't Get Outta Pocket" (already knew it because it was pre-released on some websites). Unfortunately there are also some whack songs on it, that's what's reduces the quality of the whole album.
