Title: Westside Connection made the 106 and Park countdown...
Post by: R-Tistic on November 19, 2003, 06:20:06 PM: I donno if everybody cares much, but "Gangsta Nation" made the 106 and park countdown, which is a big shock to me. Hopefully, this is a sign that their album will actually move some units.
Bein 100% honest with y'all, I don't think they made the countdown because of votes, because it seems that 95% of the people who vote for videos are females and people who only like commercial rap and r&b. But for a west coast song to make the countdown that wasn't snoop, this is great news.

West Coast is usually only represented on 106 by Snoop, Tyrese, and pop acts B2K & IMX/Marques Houston. Within the last month they have guested twice, so hopefully they'll comeback and perform.

Because jus as stated, other than snoop, west coast gangsta rap is neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever on the countown. And 1-6 & park is mainly voted on by females who like commercial shit.
