maybe i'm crazy, but i was bumping Terrorist Threats earlier today and noticed they took the scratches out of Lights Out. right before each time they start rhyming theres a scratch and quick sample, at least there was on the OG from that Mack 10 soundtrack. from what i noticed on the album version those were removed as was the westside sample from the beginning. personally i like the original version. peace!!

yeah i noticed that and i dont like the newer one i like the old one better

There's a few changes..
* The beat is slightly different in the beginning and in the end.
* The scratches/effects is taken out, it sounds cleaner on the new one, though the hiphop feel was reduced.
* Adlibs in the beginning, chorus & in between verses is removed for the new version.
Overall, the OG is better than the album one.
This is almost the same as they did with "Mighty mighty D-Block", the album version was worse than the single/bootleg version.

^^^^I didn't know that. Thanks...

I have to agree that the new "Lights Out" version is not as good as the original one. Same's with "Mighty D-Block" (the original beat was better and the 50 Cent sample fitted well) and "Ground Zero" by M.O.P. (they changed the beat too). I don't know why someone feels the need to change a track that was already dope enough.

The scratched vocal samples before each verse were dope, dunno why they removed them.

I didn't catch this on the OG one but...what's that shit that Knoc is talkin about Damizza in the begining?

Internal joke.
Damizza produced the track, so dissing him on it would be pretty strange.

Yeah, Shade Sheist actually said too that in an interview.
