Electric blankets are dope but i'm too prang they're gonna set on fire to use one. And hot water bottles are dope until they leak boiling water all over your naked body while you're asleep and you wake up with 3rd degree burns on your lil' fella. :'(. Having someone else in the bed is my favourite way to keep warm.

Dunno what your apartment or house is like, Seer, but what I've seen and experienced in England tells me that if y'all had double windows with proper insulation you wouldn't be needing them 2 duvets. Plus this one family I stayed with had their heat automatically turned off during the night and on again at morning. Shit was fucked up. Right now we got -10°C outside (something below 20°F) and it's getting colder for Christmas and I'm comfy sleeping with just one basic blanket in my boxers - thanks to proper thermal insulation in our houses.
