I really dont listen to Master P much but I know Yuk has been dissing him for years since the Luniz first or second album he str8 merked P on Godzilla & Im sure he'll get at him on the Thug Lordz album but
Has P or anyone from the No Limit camp ever responded to Yuk on wax or address the beef in anyway ?
And is this whole beef about that ice cream man shit or is there something else to it ? cause it seems like Yuk hates P more then Pac hated Biggy

P never calls out names. He doesn't give people shine. But, he has so many other people dissing him, you got no clue who he's replying to. From Pastor Troy, Kane & Abel, Mr. Serv-On, C-Bo, Yuk, Steady Mobbin and so many more. So, to answer your question, yes, but never directly.

ya know..master p is a prime example of what i hate in hip hop...not his skills...the man has skills like a mf...he just doesnt use them all...he sticks to albums where 90% of the songs are no limit posse cuts and doesnt showcase his talent...he's had some great songs...but i know that he can do better...the ice cream man album was pure satisfaction...i could listen to that shit without skipping a track...same with TRU's album "Tru 2 Da Game"...but ever since that shit dropped he's been goin down hill...oh well

When P first came out, and made his best music, he was doing it solo. The occasional feature, but for the most part he held it down. Then he blew up. He decided to put every last person on. He went down hill after that. Can't knock him trying to help.

Remember when he took out that ad that asked rappers to stop dissin' each other? That was real. Not too many artists would dare do that, especially in today's climate. IMO Master P has to get his props.

Becuase he was popular. It's that simple. P was one of the best to do it, he has some classic tracks and albums under his belt. A pioneer in the South. Not to mention, for a Southern rapper he did real good in the Bay. Fuck the hate, P is always gonna be talented to me. If people could still like Snoop's god awful music, I see no reason why they should hate on P.

Hell yeah. P's albums were always raw street shit. Well that stopped with Da Last Don though.

I have nothing negative to say about Master P. This guy, first and foremost, is a good person, lol. Honestly, if you've ever read interviews or seen candid stuff of him, he's a nice guy. He's a family man, he's making money off of his kid, but his kid wants to do it, so I can't hate. Everytime I see him and Lil Romeo together, they're having fun. There was a show on MTV where Master P went and lived with these rednecks for the weekend, lol I don't know what it was called, but there was this hick family with like 3 daughters and 2 sons or something, and the kids were all Master P fans. Now, he could have just made fun of the people and insulted them and shit, but he had a good time, partied with them, gave them some No Limit clothes, ate dinner with them, and just acted like a normal guy and had fun the whole weekend, and he's worth like 400 million dollars. Dude is a class act from his head to his feet.

as far as i know he hasn't returned a diss, but besides it would be pointless cause lyrically P can't fuck wit Yuk or Bo. maybe Bavgate in Steady Mobbin though.
I aint gone lie though, I used to like some of his old shit, but now that I listen to it again, he wasn't really all that tyte in my opinion. it was mainly good production and hookz.
and as far as him being a good person, that aint what i heard. my cousin (Buck Haven) was a former member of Bavgate's (of Steady Mobbin) Black Mafia Family and them niggaz said that nigga was crooked. speakin on niggaz behind they backs and shit, and cheatin niggaz that really trusted him just like most other labels were doin around that time (ie. awol, black market, etc.).
and also look out for Buck Haven's shit in the future, my nigga has heat.

yeah master p made some dope ass music back n the day, with ice cream man, mama's bad boy, the first 2 TRU albums etc.......
y'all cant deny he was heavily westcoast influenced when he first came out and released some of the dopest music at the time

P is an average rapper...not as far as skills go...he's got more than most...but as far as his albums go. he's got a lot of classic tracks (make say uhh, ice cream man, goodbye to my homies) and a lot of wack ass bullshit tracks (oohwee, make me say ugghh 2, etc)...but no matter who you are...i dont give a shit if you hated rap when it came out...you know you were bumpin' "Make em say ughhh!"...taht shit was raw.
