Vol 3 wasnt good either.... Im not even wanting a 213 album, its called being tired. These cats need to take a break and let some new people through or seriously look at the decrease in sound quality since the 90s.
-
no I think this is one off the best mixtape I ever heard.
snoop dogg still one off the best rappers ever.
snoop dogg comes tight on this mixtapes.
I like all of snoop dogg mixtapes.
-
Is it anywhere I can download vol. 3 and 4???
-
Buuuuulshit. I figured it would be shit, but Vol 4 is much better than 2 or 3. I can't remember how good 1 was, but I just listend to Vol. 2 today, Vol 4 is much better.
-
And you're surprised?
-
FUCK THAT! this is the 2nd best one yet.. check his flow, on point with that mid-90's shit.. example = Snoop Dogg - Hey Young World
-
I just played it, and it is pretty tite 2 me. Some songs better than others but somethin i'll be bumpin the rest of my time in L.A. I jus left crenshaw mall, and I was bumpin the "Change hoes and go" in the parkin lot and somebody was like "ey what song is that? oh its on a mixtape? that shit bangin!"
-

I am, but I go to college right now in Florida. I am home for break right now, but I'm in my second year in college. I was born in Inglewood then moved 2 Gardena, so I've been here forever but had 2 get away.

But yeah I have been talkin to him everyday at his shop, but I haven't been to the studio with him yet, cause he is busy runnin his store.
-
This mixtape is better then vol.2 or 3
Snoop comes tight, but still fuck him. LOL
-
i got vol 3 in hmv yday, wernt that impressed. i got 2 dif versions of that now and none of them r betta than average.
-
Vol 4. is pretty tight, I think. Better than the other ones. Here's some lyrics, yall judge yourself
"Change Hoes" -
Nah, i'm just playin'... my nigga mac's gotta party out in South L.A. 'n
A lil' somethin' for the Dub S C G... Ice Cube, Mac 10, And Dub C
Special guest will be 213, ya can't spell the West without the E S, so we jus...
Lay back and pop some bottles, or get a few numbers from these runway models
Hittin' Shit, just like a lotto, You gots to do it, yeah that's the motto
Hey yo mac, Your bitch is fine, and so is mine, so lets exchange ho's 1 time
It's just like dancin, switchin', humpin', grindin' your pants, an, ya gotta take a chance an' lets
EXCHHHHANGEE hooooooos, and Rollll
An Mac, I promise you, this Bitch is cute, she's for you
(To the beat of Change Clothes, obviously)
LOL
It's got a remixed version of "I'm Fly" on it, that sounds better (I think)... the beat fits their flow better.
Prison letter is tight.
Hey Young world is really tight, I think it might be a cover though, I dunno. I'm pretty sure the hook was from something else. He's talkin to kids like Nas' "I Know I Can"....
"Don't live in a world of hate, hate hate
Pull yourself together and get yourself straight
Men Don't steal, hey, most don't borrow
And If you smoke Crack, your kids'll smoke Crack Tommorow
So be more mature, and kids do your chores
Make your own money, hey, be proud that's yours
Cuz that's a man that brings no spite, a man never loses a fight In God's sight
Cuz righteous laws are overdue, and this is the message that the Big Dogg threw, and it's true...."
That's pretty tight, I think.
-
are there any original beats on this??? im not too fond of commercial beats being re used but im sure Snoop rips them up anyway ;D
-
I thnought snoop came with some good flows, kind of like his 93 sound. Wasnt bad at all.
-
Buuuuulshit. I figured it would be shit, but Vol 4 is much better than 2 or 3. I can't remember how good 1 was, but I just listend to Vol. 2 today, Vol 4 is much better.
^damn fo real, some dumb fuck was sayin' how tight snoop came came on volume 3 and how he ain't fell off yadda yadda, i downloaded it and all his tracks was weak as fuck... the daddy v joints was nice... i downloaded vol. 4 and ain't peeped it yet...
~1~
-
snoop came terrable on 3, this one was pretty tight, its what i expect for a mixtape pretty good shit, but nothing ground breaking (this and vol 1 are the best by far)
-
"Mic Check Vol 1, 2, 3, Volume 4....
You know, we be blowin' niggaz out, blowin' niggaz out
I'm fuckin' with Kid, he's splittin' the swish'n, breakin' a bud
now we drinkin' some liquour
Watchin the game, takin' a blast
My football team be kickin' Mucho ass
Throw me a pass, make me a block
I'll fuck a nigga up and leave the quarterback popped
The game is over, the Range Rover
I'll come on the field and knock your head off your shoulders
They know me in Boulder, and South Dakota
I get a lotta money, from hip-hop promoters
I mix my henny, with Coca-Cola
Ya see me wearin' Steelers all the time cuz I'm a rolla...
Shit is tight as hell
-
volume 1 and 4 are live blud, ofcourse the usual haters will ignore the dopeness and hate but y'all should check into some of the shit that gets spit in them mixtapes.........volume 2 n 3 are wack though............apart from the joint with busta n snoop.............usually bus be outshinin everyone on tracks but imo snoop kills it with how laid back his verse was on the joint......i think its on volume 3, many many............not sure cant remember cuz i skipped most of that volume along with 2.......seeeeen
peace
-
this is pretty good, I like 4 tracks or so
-
Yeah, that busta track was nice. Vol 2 and 3 were weak, but they DID have some dope tracks. Vol 2. had that dope ass David Banner track, that shit was crazy. "Fuck with me mississippi" - snoop
-
Where can I get this or who the fuck wants to hook me up?
-
Is it anywhere I can download vol. 3 and 4???
Go to http://dblock-forum.cjb.net
and go to the hip hop section, there is a download link in it.
-
Is the Hey Young World song a remake of Slick Rick's Hey Young World?
-
Prob., it's a storytelling song and doesn't sound like something Snoop would write. I thought it was prob. a cover, and it has a slick rick style to it.
-
Looked up the lyrics, yup, it's Snoop's version of Slick Rick's song.
-
Yo, can someone tell me if I got this right. Far as I know, there were only one version each for Welcome To Tha Chuuch Vol. 1 & 2. There were different covers but the tracks remained the same. There were 3 versions for Vol. 3 (Daddy V, Snoop, Whoo Kid), and to my knowledge two versions of Vol. 4 (Snoop, Whoo Kid). Anyone got a track listing for Daddy V's Vol. 3? (and his own Vol. 4 if it exists). Thanks.
''I'm DPG-Unit connected!'' - Daz Dillinger
-
to my knowledge two versions of Vol. 4 (Snoop, Whoo Kid).
