I wasn't feelin it at all. The production was plain and outdated sounding. If you're looking for recent Pete Rock music, check out Petestrumentals.
Main Ingredient
Tight. Get it.
Mecca and the Soul Brother
My favorite album they ever dropped and Pete Rock's production was incredible. Damn CL Smooth and Pete Rock made a good team.

yea ive been wondering the same thing, theres so many fuckin album, and every time i turn around theres another Classic, that i never even heard of, can some people post a whole bunch of classics, that arent very know, or at least not as much as , ilmatic, the chronic, 36 chambers.....

Pick up Main Ingredient and Mecca & The Soul Brother. Both perfect 5/5 albums IMO.
You can't go wrong with any of Gang Starr's CDs.

everything Jeru does is good...both those albums were the first albums i heard from him back like 4 years ago. very good albums.
as for gangstarr as lincoln said...you cant go wrong.

Yeah IKON......pick 'em all up....support the backpack movement.

Main Ingredient
Mecca and the Soul Brother
Get em both. Mecca & The Soul Brother is a real classic
Jeru the Damaja - The Sun Rises in the East
Jeru the Damaja - Wrath of the Math
Group Home - Livin Proof (primo production)
Yeah, just don't buy Jeru's newer ones cause the production kinda sucks on most tracks. Livin Proof is a very nice album, they might not be the tightest MC's ever, but Primo really did a good job

I got "Hard To Earn" and "Step In The Arena" and I heard a lot off the other ones. You won't regret buyin any of their CD's

Pretty much summed it up perfectly.
Also, definitely pick up Pete Rock - Soul Brother album, dope production throughout and some real dope guests on that album as well.

Tonguetwista i said HIP HOP HEADS ONLY!!!!!!! ;D

Jeru is great. His new albums are weak, but that goes without saying. His day is over. When he was hot, believe, he was great.
Group Home is also great. Premo killed it with the production.

thanks for the wise advice y'all
im probably gonna pick of the jeru albums, his voice is raw and sounds dope over primo, plus the primo production doesnt hurt ;D
