Okay, so remember that song that was posted here called "Luv For Me" by Lunch featuring Tha Realest where Lunch mistakes Tha Realest for being 2Pac? Today they played that song on the radio in LA (100.3 The Beat), and when it was done, the DJ shouted out "OHHH MAN! That ones a banger!...Lunch with the late great 2Pac...That ones a classic!"...I swear to fuckin God, this shit is so fuckin' retarded...And I think it's fuckin' disrespectful too...I fuckin' hate Tha Realest, I hope he burns in hell for his fuckin' fake ass immitation.. Even my dad says he tries too hard to sound like 2Pac...How did this even happen? Are they seriously tryna' pass this off as Pac? FUCK MAN, whatever, I think that's fuckin retarded as hell...PeACe

I'm sure his voice is like that in real life, which ain't his fault. But, his flow, adlibs, laughter, content, mentality, etc. are too close to Pac. It's close to a regular Hip Hop listener, but if you know Hip Hop, you know who's who. I still ain't heard the song.

Yea. He doesn't have an identity, it's a shame. I feel bad for the guy, he's a grown man riding a dead mans coattails. Horrible. I mean, he ain't all that bad, but like I said, he has no identity. It'd be hard to take him serious, no matter what he spits.

i dont think he's trying to be pac. he just sounds like pac. thats the whole reason he got a deal in the first place. if i sounded like biggie i would take a deal even if i knew i would catch heat for it. music will get you paid.

It's one thing to sound like an artist(Ex. Shyne) it's another to copy an artist. Listen to Tha Realest. He has that same chuckle as Pac, he adlibs the same way, claims West Side and says M.O.B. a lot, like Pac. Has the same exact flow. The voice ain't his fault, I'm sure that's how he really sounds, but everything else is way too similar.

aside from his voice and rap style, tha realest is no different from the other 95% of the industry mentally. everybody and their mama is trying to make a pac song. eminem, nas, jay-z, ja rule, etc.

IMO he really doesn't sound so close to Pac. It's just that with his style, flow, lyrical content, dialect at the end of songs, etc. you can obviously tell he's tryna be the "new" Pac or whatever. It is a shame cuz I'm actually feelin' the dude.

I think Realest has progressed quite a lot in the past few years, I never really used to like him but the newer shit is a lot more original. Plus he's been working with C-Bo, Yuk, E-White, Johnny J and some big names, so he's making moves whatever you think about him.

Know what you mean. If you listen to his two tracks off the Gang Related soundtrack, where he was using the name Tenkamenin, he had a lot of talent. Sure his voice sounds the same as Pac's, but at that time he wasn't yet biting his flow, ad-libs and everything else so closely.
From what I imagine, after that Suge got in his ear telling him what a star he could be, and how we was the only one that could wear Pac's crown and carry on his legacy, blah blah blah... From that point he changed his name to the wack shit it is today, and fucked up any chance he had of being taken seriously by a large part of the hip-hop community... Shame.
