Classic trac. One of the greatest ever outta the West IMO.

Yep Warren, Cube, NWA, Paris, Biggie, Cypress Hill, Wu Tang Clan, Domino, Coolio, Gravediggaz, Snoop, Nas, Jeru, Fugees etc etc
we were so lucky in the period of 93 - 96 because of the amount of different exciting fresh artists that made us pick them up and never stop listening to the albums they released then (often their first ones) ...of course you have others such as Public Enemy BDP, Ice Cube, Ice T, Tupac who came first and came hard (and others who took another route to my heart like Pharcyde, EPMD, LL, with stuff i still bump to this day but those to me were special years (1988 - 1996)
...1997 was the year of general decline imo...and great sadness
I konw i have left quite a few out of this period but if i mention them all i will never get on with any work ;)
-
Everything from before 1997 was bumpin its been down hill since
-
REMEMBER THESES TRACKS:
Domino - Getto Jam

Militia - Burn
"Well Lets Burn, To tHe Sun Burns Your Eyes, Keep Burnin To It Sets On the WESTSIDE!"

u know 1 thing thou with me... i don't know bout the rest of u but what really got me in2 rap was snoop's doggystyle album and from 93 til now the g-funk shit is still all i play most of the time... when i first heard snoop's what's my name i can't even explain it... i never heard anything like it in my life... snoop's flow was amazing and the beat was incredible so i grew up on all that shit so that's another reason why warren g's regulate never gets played out 2 me... the sound is timeless... it's definitley one of the songs i bumped most in my lifetime... what's my name by snoop gotta be number 1, i used 2 have the cassette flippin' it back and forth all day bumpin' that shit... so a rough estimate i heard the song about 100,000 time in my lifetime lol.. and the crazy part is i could bump that shit right now and still get hyped... same wit warren's cds...
