Does anyone know when the hell Detox is supposed to be out? I copped that pretox mixtape and thats got some hot shit on it so damn, I'm fiendin' here for some news cuz i ain't heard nothin' yet.

gas and a match, can u hook up that pretox over aim please? detox is not going to drop for at least another 18 years. as long as i've been on this board (3 years), people been talking about it coming out, yet still we have yet to hear ONE track from it. and we all know how long dre takes to put out an album...10 years in the game and puts out two? i wouldn't hold my breath for it coming out any time soon

if dre wants to release it this year, then he gotta concentrate on his own project and let 50cent and eminem get other producers to produce for them, coz dre cant give his hot tracks to 50cent, coz dre needs them for his own album
i really hope this album comes out this year.
if anything, it will come out in november/december

Exactly. Ain't no telling when it'll be out. However, if MTV gets it right and Em, Dre and 50 all drop an album this year there's got to be one helluva tour too. I wouldn't bet on any of that though, could might as well be that none of them drop a solo this year. I mean Lloyd Banks is supposed to come out, The Game is supposed to come out, D12 is supposed to come out - add to that the production work and guest appearances Dre and Em do for other artists and they've got plenty of work on their hands already. 'Cause when it comes down to it, all of the releases from the Shady/Aftermath camp depend on Em and Dre - be it that their executive producing it, writing for it or producing for it or appeareing on it. If you're on their label, you got to have at least one track by Dre on there or one verse by Em on there as an absolute minimum. Would be a lost opportunity if you didn't, right?

That's still far from the whole roster.

You know that the good Doctor will wait until the G Unit, 50 Cent 'era' has gone quite. When he releases something the industry is usually quite that way he hits you with it hard. Doc is clever like that. If 50 drops in the 2nd quarter, then you can expect Dre FALL or 1st quarter 05.

I'm fairly sure Eminem will drop by July at the latest and I'd expect Detox at the end of the year, like around November.
The Chronic and 2001 were very late year releases too.

Ain't no way they'd release their albums so close to each other, hell no. If Em drops this year, "around September" as he said he would in XXL, or even in July, ain't no point in expecting Detox to drop the same year. Besides if Dre's just started, it's gonna be longer than November this year for the album to even be finished.
But I think he will drop Detox outside the most crowded periods - summer and Christmas. A Dre album won't come out in the summer or around Christmas, everybody releases their albums during those times.
