Anyone else like Will Smith?
Not necessarily for his music, though Summertime is a classic, but also for his great acting work.
People jump on the lets hate Will Smith bandwagon way too easily.

I don't like his music, but he's definitely one of the funniest actors and most pleasantly people. You'll HAVE to love him for "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air" :D

i think a lot of people are mad at him cuz he said that shit about "i don't cuss and i sell records." a lot of people saw it as a slap in the face of black rappers trying to make some money. plus, that interview where he was saying that everything since he left the rap game is 'garbage' made a few people mad. and i ain't gonna lie - it kinda made me mad too. i just hate when people are being self-righteous like that. it's ignorant in my opinion and think it could have gone without saying. he'd be respected a lot more if those comments were never heard. but yeah - he's a good guy i think. he just knows he's good and that's a problem if you got a big mouth.
summertime, mike tyson, parents just don't understand - the first rap i ever listened to. funny stuff man.

lol i dont think anyone cares about the "i dont cuss and sell records" shit...will smith makes good music sometimes but he makes alot of wack bullshit too. he is one of the best actors of our time though. bad boys 1 & 2...damn i love those movies.

i also respect him for being the first rapper who ever won a grammy!
so yea, music wise, i only respect him, but dont like his music

Will Smith is funny and entertaining in movies. I wouldn't be upset if he never picked up a mic again. I haven't felt him rhyme-wise since "Summertime".

i really enjoy his acting, i think he's one of the best actors around with the movies he's done. i wasnt really into his music, but "So Fresh" is definitley a slept on joint

He's a great actor, but the only 2 songs of his I ever felt were "Summer Time" and "Wild Wild West". I find it kinda funny though how he doesn't cuss in raps, yet he makes Rated R movies like the 2 "Bad Boys" movies. Kinda hypocritical if ya ask me.

not really...he doesnt have any say in what he acts in...except whether or not to accept the job. with his raps he has every say in what his lyrics are. besides...he doesnt do that many r rated movies except bad boys...and he did the first one back when he really didnt seem to give a shit about his lyrics & such (you saw my blinker bitch), and its not like he could really say no to the second one.
