Flesh Of My Flesh dissapointed me & so did kuruption & space boogie

you are correct though i need to get tha streetz iz a mutha again...that was one of the best albums i've heard in a long while.

i used to have ice cubes greatest hits but really my version of his greatest hits would be different than the retail one...although there are some of his old cds i still need to peep so ima check the ones you listed. props

yeah that LL all world cd is dope...i used to have that too but it got jacked  :'(, ima cop that again though...i see it at half price books all the time.

Gravediggaz - 6 Feet Deep

its probably their best album, noticed that you had "the pick.."

Try picking up some Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Swollen Members.. or anything Def Squad related ..

DMX:  ...And Then There Was X
Best beats on a DMX album.
Lyrically, not garbage.

That album is pretty much 100% 1999 to me.

yeah - it's kinda hard to ask someone what albums you should buy unless you have unlimited amounts of cash. hell, there are a million albums i would wanna buy if i had the cash.

i'd say just buy albums that you know are good. then download things people say are good, and decide for yourself if you like it enough to buy it.

plus, so many artists nowadays just put out shit cuz they can make money on it no matter what. their albums lack good music cuz they're gettin paid no matter what, so i'd say you should listen to anything before you buy it. don't go off of anyone's opinion when you're spending your own hard earned cash. if you're busy listenin to all the people on this board, you're bound to be disappointed, mostly because everyone has conflicting opinions. like me for example, half the stuff other people have recommended, i wouldn't have recommended, and probably likewise for any other person on this board....just go with what you know, bro

my cash flow isnt running low at all so im not worried about that.

yeah d-metro you are right about that album...i had that and it was easily my favorite dmx album...sadly it got jacked along w/ ll's album. but yeah that had some dope songs...i still have like half of it on my computer though...i couldnt live without a few of the tracks.

Definitely pick up the Reflection Eternal album (Kweli & Hi-Tek). I'm also seeing a lack of any Common or The Roots albums.

And I'd pick up Dave Hollister - Ghetto Hymns as well if you like the Real Talk album.

You need at least 1 album by Public Enemy, Run-DMC or Rakim (with Eric B or not).  Surprised you have none. Pick up Cube's early stuff, Paris maybe since you're into Immortal Technique. LL Cool J's G.O.A.T, I don't care what anyone says that's a good album. Hieroglyphics Third Eye Vision and Full Circle. Hi Tek & Talib Kweli's Reflection Eternal is a good one. Pete Rock & CL Smooth's Mecca & The Soul Brother + The Main Ingredient. Del The Funkee Homosapien's albums are all dope. I could keep going on but these would all keep you busy for a while.

I have reflection eternal, i had electric circus but i didnt like it...the rest of his stuff i have on mp3. and the roots i have phrenology but i cant find it (besides i think im gonna buy the cd/dvd combo).

yeah i need to get ghetto hymns again...that got jacked along with my other shit.

Gravediggaz' 2nd album is their weakest so u should definatly get their other ones.. 6 feet Deep is their best one and Grym Reaper really shined on Nightmare In A-Minor on tracks like Burn Baby Burn or

Guard Ya Shrine:

[Poetic]
Yeah, comin through the mist of the dust
Of a hundred thousand wild stallions
On a dirt road
Another episode of the Gravediggaz saga
Yo

You came to assassinate me
I got degrees that evaporate seas
I got thoughts that decapitate enemies
While your thoughts couldn't fascinate fleas
See I manipulate keys in a vocal joint
That alter your focal point, fuckin snake
I annoit by will, to kill you savage emcees
Then watch your cabbages bleed
You're weak and you're wicked
Diseased with a sickness, that turn Gods into swine
My mind detects blind ambition
A fine musician slash crooked politician
Trapped in a black hole, cuz ya lack soul
Gravity chokes ya black soul like a lasso
Your condition is a walking dead man

+Wake+ the fuck +Up+ or get your head banged
I'm the soldier with the bloody red hands
These ghetto alleys become dead valleys
Snakes too shook to show up at your rally
Some paralysed by the thought of bein analyzed and caught up in lies
In false hood, it ain't all good, in New York, if you don't walk the walk
I dare fuckin parasites to grab a mic
The Grym brings Fahrenheit, and blinding light
You are not my competition, you non-living treacherous pig
I'll have you submit....yo

[Chorus X2: Poetic]
You're feeble and you play black, guard ya shrine
I'm a needle in a hay-stack, hard to find
I'm evil when you slay black God for crime
I'm evil and I stay strapped far as the rhyme

as an Atmosphere fan u'd probably like Felt - A Tribute To Christina Ricci (Slug/Murs collabo album) too, even though it's musically not on the atmosphere albums level

Foe Loco - Mr. Doctor Presents Foe Loco - Re-Foecussed (while being a rapper he does some dope singing too)
Cormega - The Realness
Defari (both albums are dope "Focused Daily" and "Odds And Evens")
'Face's best one(imo) "The Diary"
Non Phixion - The Future Is Now
Shabazz The Disciple - The Book of Shabazz (Hidden Scrollz)
Shyheim - Manchild
Jedi Mind Tricks - The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological, And Electro-Magnetic Manipulation of Human (definatly better than their new one imo)
Devin (The Dude) - "The Dude" & "Just Tryin' Ta Live"
Sunz Of Man - The Last Shall Be First
Fredro Starr - Firestarr
Pete Rock - Soul Survivor
some Souls Of Mischief (I only got "93 'Til Infinity" which I can definatly recommend)
some LoopTroop, Zion I, Mr. Lif, Krumb Snatcha, Last Emp's "Lost Tracks"
both Timbo/Magoo other albums are better than the one u got so if u like that one u should get the others too

of course in the end it's just guesses though..

If you don't hate your Mobb albums and think they're both wack as hell you should get "The Infamous" and "Hell On Earth", that's 2 classic albums, IMO alot better than the ones u got. If you like that QB mid-90's style get C'N'N's "War Report", Noreaga wasn't just talkin shit back then.

Also you could get more Wu-Tang, u got their best album, but the others ain't bad either. Meth's "Tical" and "Liquid Swords" by GZA are sum of the best Wu solos

Also you could add sum more Onyx to ur collection, especially their 1st album "Bacdafucup" was dope

Then you could check out sum bay artists, like Brotha Lynch Hung, C-Bo, Mac Mall, 11/5, Dre Dog, COS, JT, GLP, Yukmouth, Gamblaz....

You got no 2pac album he dropped in his lifetime...."Makaveli", "All Eyez On Me", "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.", "2pacalypse Now", "THUG LIFE", "Me Against The World", best get em all

Then there's many old school classics you could get, "Criminal Minded", "Paid In Full", "Strictly Business", "RUN-DMC"....also check out A Tribe Called Quest, especially "Midnight Marauders" and "The Low End Theory"

Also DMX's 1st "It's Dark And Hell Is Hot" & Ras Kass' "Soul On Ice" if u like their other shit

Plus u could get sum more shit from the south, older Outkast albums, sum more Scarface, 8ball, Mjg, David Banner, Goodie Mob, Dungeon Family...

Hoe Hopper got sum nice ones there too...

Also, as far as your rock albums go definitely pick up "Smash" by The Offspring, their best album in my opinion, and also maybe "Ixany on the Hombre" by them as well.
