Title: that new Kelis album
Post by: NobodyButMe on January 15, 2004, 09:05:10 AM: anyone heard that new Kelis album? i haven't bought it, but i been listening to it at the virgin megastore in new york and gotta say that that shit is funky as fuck. that track with andre 3000 is pretty crazy - the beats are just funky and it actually sounds pretty hot. anyone agree?

Production is very polished and Kelis has a unique but at the same time classic style of singing/writing. And she definitely puts her personality into every song which is always a plus.

The only disappointments for me were the Neptunes tracks (with the exception of Milkshake which is fire). They were very cookie-cutter 'Tunes beats, not terrible but nothing special.

I could jot down the whole album almost...
But the picture/poster u get inside the cd was worth the
cover price alone..ImO
