The Diplomats have been dropped from Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam and are probably gonna sign with Koch and drop their next album and upcoming DVD there. Somebodies gonna be pissed off ;D

Dipset sold the most records on the ROC (excluding Jay-Z), i know Jays not happy with Dipset on the ROC coz they bring too many problems and controversy with them but Dame looks out for Cam so who knows...
if they do go to kotch then they will get that mad independant paper, be the biggest act on kotch and put kotch back on the map.

I mean DI and Juelz' albums didn't do that well, but Cam'Ron is still the second best seller on the Roc. Now that Jay is gone, he's the top dog. That would be dumb if they let them go. Kanye might sell, but Free didn't sell. Bleek won't sell. Young Gunz probably won't sell now. Their hype is gone. State Prop don't sell. So, that'd be a bad business move on Dame's part.

yah, I don't like Dipset but from a commercial point of view (from which Dash is definitely supposed to look at things) this ain't a great move, Cam can talk as much bs as he wants, he's sure to sell which other ROC artists ain't. Kanye's prolly gonna sell, as for Bleek I'm less optimistic and nobody seems to really care about Young Gunz and state prop. But Jay might have retired as an MC but he's still ROC, so if he ain't cool w/ Dipset i'm not surprised he gets rid of them

And I don't think the ROC is dropping Cam'ron, just The Diplomats as a group. Might be wrong though.

this doesnt mean that cam is off the roc. he is signed to the roc as a solo artist. an the dip shits are signed as a group. so they can drop the dip shits from the roc but cam is still on the roc. unless they wanna drop him 2. an he didnt sell that good 2 if u think about it. he only went plat an it took like 6 months. an if u think about all the hype an promotion for the album. an didnt he have like 4-5 videos. if u think about it all the promotion an hype he had for his album come home with me an only went plat an it took 6 months if not more to do so thats pretty sad
