So far Lil Jon ain't going nowhere. He's got the Trillville/Lil Scrappy album and released two singles for the album. "Neva Eva" and "Headbussa." He's on some track from the Untouchables. That Bravehearts track still popping. "Salt Shaker" is still tearing up the clubs. Usher's "Yeah" will blow up, too. So, to all your dismay, Lil Jon is still running shit.

I like him as a producer much more than as a rapper, but u can't deny he's runnin shit in the south right now whatever u think of him

Intelligent comment. [/sarcasm]
How am I wrong? I only recall one song there, so why would I think that he's running shit if I never heard him? If he's all over the radio and TV then he might be running the mainstream but I wouldn't know about that cause I never listen to the radio or watch music on TV but from the sounds of it, he's just another trend from the south that will past (No Limit, Cash Money, etc.).
-
i'm glad he's running the 80% of rap that is bought by white teens but that shit really doesn't appeal to me......and like that one guy said, i only heard part of one of his songs because of switching cd's in the car......i might have heard him at the club, but once again i don't really listen to the words
-
LMAO @ people calling Lil Jon a rapper. He doesn't rap. He doesn't consider himself a rapper. Who the hell listens to Lil Jon for lyrics? He's a producer first.
LMAO @ Lil Jon running the 80% of rap bought by whites. You do know that Lil Jon's fan base from the is mostly black right?

and you do know that 80% of all rap cd sales are by white folk?....i would think that this study applies to ALL rap and not just all non lil jon rap

Lil Jon is not pushing 50 Cent numbers. It he was, TVT would be a huge label right now. Lil Jon does good numbers with some cross over sales. Like Rod said, he's pretty much an indi act. His fan base is mainly black.
-
all black people i know listen to rap, raggae or r&b......less than a quarter of them go out and buy cd's......it's a known fact that most black people either buy bootlegs, or download the cd's... so i don't think that the 20% of black people that buy rap cds are the only ones buying his cds

You're from NY right? A majority, I'd about 95%, of Lil Jon's fans are in the South. So..

that's why they lost the war...
