Eminem is working on his upcoming fourth album. In the fourth quarter of 2003, Eminem's fourth solo album was about half-way finished. But late last year, the majority of his songs from the album including "Bully," "Come On," "Monkey See, Monkey Do," "Love You More" and "We As Americans" were leaked and made its way onto the Internet.
Em's new album will feature guest appearances from D-12 and G-Unit and production by Eminem and Dr. Dre. It's expected to be released in the third quarter of 2004.
"I really like Slim Shady," Dr. Dre, who is executive producing the album, commented. "I like him talking shit and pissing people off. That's where he's gonna go next, talking shit and raising eyebrows."
the dre quote is from xxl. i duno about anyone else, but i didnt really like any of those tracks that leaked and didnt think they were album caliber @ all, i hope he puts in a LOT more effort

I didnt like those songs much at all either, hope they dont make the album cut...
-
love you more & we as americans were for sure the only tracks who were supposed to be on the lp and they are both fuckin sick.
-
they are good... but i hope the album tracks are a lot better, esp cause they are oold i dont want them to be "fillers", id rather have less all NEw and sick tracks
-
thanks
-
I haven't heard "Love You More" & "We As Americans" so far...can anyone hook me up?
-
^^if u can catch me on before someone else hooks u up this time I can do it :D
the info on all those tracks that were supposed to be on the album gots to be false.. no way he's gonna release this Places To Go remix on an album
-
This sounds like bullshit. Those songs sound like they were from mid-2002 and they wouldn't be songs that would make the album.
That Dre quote sounds false too, I gotta see that in XXL for myself.

Are you guys serious? Those tracks were great! Out of the six that leaked recently the only one's I didn't particularly like were 'Monkey See, Monkey Do' (aside from 'Sing For The Moment' I don't like Em in rock mode, and this didn't seem like album material to me) and 'Can-I-Bitch' (sounded suspiciously like a very old track). 'Come On' is one of my favourite D12 tracks and every member shines on it, I think Em's sing-song rap style is great on 'Bully' which happens to be one of my preferred disses by Slim; and 'We As Americans' is lyrically some of Em's best material ever in my eyes. Don't believe me? Take a look at some of these quotes:
'I got drama hanging over my head like a voodoo hex. I could've been next to fly over the cuccoo's nest'
'Now I've finessed it, and I've got the industry pissy after me and Dre split it 50-50 on 50'
'Fuck money. I don't rap for dead presidents - I'd rather see the president dead. It's never been said but I stand presidence'
'I set standards, and they can't stand it'
'Shhh. I've got a secret if you can keep it between us. I tuck two nina's under my jean's, each side of my penis'
Damn, I could go on. As for the beat, I'm guessing its by Em and if that is so its one of his best productions yet. The chords in the background are a really nice touch. Personally, I don't think that in terms of lyrical ability there is anybody seeing Em on the mic right now. This next album should be the one to secure his place as a legend in the game...

LMAO! So those were new songs? Haha. Horrible. And he intended on putting those on record? Jesus, Em is getting worse.
-
lol if thats the typa shit that hsi gone be puttin on his new albu, he better hope dre produces most of it
-
Well, I guess we can never really know if they were meant for an LP or not. But I'm pretty sure Em won't put any songs on there that are all about dissing The Source or Benzino, he's past that shit already. A few lines maybe, but not whole songs. I could bet money on that.
I never actually heard any of these songs, damn! Could somebody hook me up with a couple? Like We as Americans and Bully or some shit?
-
If I knew HOW to hook tracks up I would... ???
Dunno why people referring to these tracks as 'horrible'. What exactly was so horrible about them? It certainly wasn't his lyrics if you ask me: as usual they were all on point - although Em should lay off the thug image. Some of the lyrics of 'Bully' (although I feel the track on the whole) are a little too gangsta for Slim. Like I said before, the only tracks I weren't feeling were Monkey See, Monkey Do & Can-I-Bitch simply for the fact that it was obvious that it was a pretty old track.

"Bully" was probably THE worst diss record I've ever heard. "Monkey See, Monkey Do" wasn't far behind. "Can-I-Bitch" was funny, but still pretty wack.
-
Naaa, I thought 'Bully' was great. How can you consider that one of the weakest disses of all time ??? I could name a lot worse...
''Now I'm not trying to make no more enemies no more, unfortunately, there's so many other motherfuckers that just are. They just keep pounding at me now that I'm down with 50, suddenly now I got beef with this faggot Ja. But his ass is such a puppet, Irv can shove his whole hand up it and just make him say what he wants him to say. But Suge's got Irv on a string, and Irv's so nervous that he will do anything to keep this man at bay'' - Eminem (and what I would say are some pretty good lyrics ;) )
Can-I-Bitch and Monkey See, Monkey Do I agree with you on. What did you think of 'We As Americans' and 'Love You More'?
-
face it man, that shit eminem put out was weak, production was 2nd rate, lyrics were standard shit, nuttin album worth, beats was weak, flow was ok.......man standard mixtape shit!.....man compare that shit to joints like, collapse, soldier, guilty conscience, and quite alot of mmlp.......and u would consider that wack shit, it aint album material in no way possible.......i doubt its even stuff he had for his album, its sounds like stuff put together within hours, a couple of days max..........that stuff got leaked intentionally

It sounded like Em was whining to his mommy because someone was picking on him.

This is on "Bully"?
Can-I-Bitch and Monkey See, Monkey Do I agree with you on. What did you think of 'We As Americans' and 'Love You More'?
I haven't "We As Americans" or "Love You More."
-
Ahh, I think I see what the confusion MIGHT be. The lyrics I quoted are from the track 'Bully' which, along with 'Monkey See, Monkey Do', 'Can-I-Bitch', 'Love You More', and 'Come On' featuring D12, leaked several months ago. At first they were reported by some internet fans to be part of an EP called 'Straight From The Lab', and have now been mentioned as possible tracks for Em's next record. 'Come On' most recently appeared ages after it had leaked as '6 In The Mornin'' on the new Green Lantern mixtape, 'Invasion 3'. SGV, are you maybe thinking that the new Em freestyle off of the GL mix is 'Bully'? I'm pretty sure that that is not 'Bully' since the original track referred to as 'Bully' been out for a while, but if it is I've obviously got an alternate version. That said, the track I originally thought was 'Bully' fits the title better than the freestyle since the chorus mentions how Em won't bow down to a bully and stuff...MTV reported about Bully a while ago so I can maybe find the lyrics there.
If you were thinking of 'Bully' as the new freestyle then I can sort of see your point about Em whining ;)

Yo, this is the version of 'Bully' I got. Found the lyrics after a quick Google search
Bully Lyrics
yo, Check It Out, It's Fucked Up, Cuz I Don't See Either One Of Us Budging
[Verse]
I'm WithHolding My Anger
Though I'd Like To Be The Strangler
Of This PunkAss Little Pussy's Puny Neck
It's My Right To Insist
That He Acknowledge My Existence
But He Just Displays Complete Lack Of Respect
That's What He Says To Himself
As He Uses Magazines To Trash Me
As He Sits With Both His Feet Up At His Desk
Smokes A Bag Of His WEED
And Starts Imagining Things
And He Just Can't See That He's Manically Depressed
And In His Jealousy And Envy
It Just Whirls Him In A Frenzy
As He Turns On MTV And Sees My Face
He Don't Exist In This World
So He Just Twists And He Twirls
Spirals And Spins Till He Hurls Himself In A Rage
And It's Destroying Him Slowly
Cuz He Does Not even know me
Even Though He Sees Me EveryWhere He Goes
So He Just Tortures Himself
He Has No Fortune And Wealth
So He Extorts SomeOne Else To Get His Dough
And Now He's Acting Like A Bully
So He Tries To Push And Pull Me
But He Knows That He Can't Pull Me So He's Mad
He Has No Choice But To Scream
And Raise His Voice Up At Me
Cuz It Annoys Him To See That I Ain't Scared
[Chorus]
You aint no motherfucking (bully)
And I aint bowing to no motherfucking (bully)
I won't allow it, aint gonna cower to no (bully)
I'll be damned if I don't stand up to a (bully)
Fight like a man and throw my hands up to a (bully...)
And I know it must be fucking with you emotionall(y...)
[Verse]
Now I'm not trying to make no more enemies
No more unfortunately
There's so many other motherfuckers that just are
They just keep pounding at me
Now that I'm down with 50
Suddenly now I got beef with this faggot Ja [laughter]
But his ass is such a puppet
Irv could shove his whole hand up it
And just make him say what he wants him to say
But shug has Irv on a string
And Irv's so nervous that he
Says anything to this man to keep him at bay
So now Ja thinks that he's so tough
And Murder Inc.'s the big bad wolf
And they go huff and puff and blow our label down
But our building's made out of bricks
So you ain't taking out shit
and dawg you just did a song with Bobby Brown
So now you try to pull a race card
And it backfires in your face hard
Cuz you know we don't play that black and white shit
Plus this guy that you fucked
When you was ecstasied up
Was just a man who's dressed up as a white bitch
[Chorus]
You must be taking to much (E...)
[Verse]
Now what bothers me the most
About hip-hop is we so close
To picking up where we left off with Big and Pac
We just lost Jam Master J
Big L got blasted away
Plus we lost Bugs, Slay Tounge, and Freaky-Tah
It's like a never-ending cycle
That just seems to come full circle
Everybody's gotta be so fucking hard
I'm not excluding myself
Cuz I been stupid as well
I been known to lose it when someone says something smart
But as we grow as men
We learn to let shit go, but then again
There's only so much bullshit we can really stand
We all got reps to uphold
When someone steps on our toes
It's no exception, it goes for every man
But if Irv really gave a fuck
About Ja like he claims he does
He'd wake him up and make his boy get off them drugs
But he just keeps feeding him pills
So if that E doesn't kill him
Someone from G-Unit will and I ain't buzzed
Dawg, I'm talking to you straight
If the situation escalates
Any worse, we're gonna lose another soldier to this game
And if I get killed for this rap
I got a million in cash
That says I will get you back in Hailie's name
[Chorus]
Irvine, get your boy of off that (E...)
[Spoken]
Get at me, dawg
Holla

his flow on Bully is CRAZY, but thats the only good thing about any of those tracks
