Pretty emotional stuff in that movie, and id recommend it..its alteast worth one watch. The ending was sad but good, liked the storyline. Post your thoughts on it

I didn't really like it that much, These are just not my type of movies I guess...This IMO is by far the worst Steven Speilberg movie...

It was ok, as ya say worth 1 watch. Wasn't the best film I have ever seen but then again wasn't the worst.
Loved the little teddy bear.

Let's take a look at some professional reviews:
"For Spielberg to take on a downer of a story like A.I. is like Santa Claus taking charge of the IRS."
-- Jay Boyar, ORLANDO SENTINEL
"Don't be fooled by the hype: A.I. is nothing more than a rambling, pointless, godawful boring paean to Spielberg's Neverneverland fixation."
-- Rose 'Bams' Cooper
"2 hours and 24 minutes of concept stretching and heart massage, a long campaign of total manipulation."
-- David Elliott, SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE
"Neither vintage Spielberg nor classic Kubrick. This hybrid film borrows from the vision of both directors with disappointing results."
-- Michael Elliott, MOVIE PARABLES
"A.I. will have you leaving the theater shaking your head in disbelief."
-- David Forsmark, CREDO
"A cold, boring retread of Pinocchio with no characters to grab onto."
-- Chris Hewitt, ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS
"A frustrating but ultimately boring experience that I kept wishing was more exciting and engaging."
-- Jim Judy, SCREEN IT!
"It ends up a glorious failure, an impressive mess."
-- Eric Harrison, HOUSTON CHRONICLE
Now let's see what this "masterpiece" did in the box office:
Production Budget: $90,000,000
Total Gross: $78,616,689

NIK has a point. I am sure even Steven himself would admit that this film was his biggest failure. Like any business the aim is to make money. THis didnt, and it got horrible reviews.
Its one of them films that starts out good but by the time its half way through you are wishing that somebody would of thought of a better route for the storyline to take. When this film started I was like this is dope, so robotic kid that has been made for parents who have lost a son but the robotic kid wants to be a real boy and to have real love. I was thinking this is really good, but then it took a wierd turn where he went after the blue fairy and shit and I was like what the fuck, what a waste. An ok movie, but cudda been so much more. But hey thats Kubrick for ya.
