what u think knoc will do?

Agree with Overseer, IV Life Records. . .
Dale Dog did it with Mafia IV Life and they have "Maintained" since the early 90's. Now with his label venture and with DJ Slip behind the boards I wouldnt bet against them to make some noise.
Plus also I heard they have 2 releases due this year, this underground official one called "Game Over" and "The New Breed" major release. Along with that they have fucked with Abstract Rude from Project Blowed fam, from the original Cali Hip Hop scene.
Good luck Overseer, I wish Dog success.

Knoc-turn'al got some big connections for his album (Snoop, 50, Dre, Quik, etc.) and that star power should push his sales a little. Its just a shame that Knoc's album wasn't officially released when he was gaining a buzz off of the 'Bad Intentions' single and coming up in the mainstream. If it had dropped around the same period as 'The Wash' OST it probably would've done a little better than it will do, but who knows? Knoc's single with Snoop is getting pretty good airplay and the extra time following the 'Knoc's Landin'' CD being cancelled may have given him the extra time he needed to craft a classic debut - it certainly looks promising. If the album doesn't sell as much as anticipated I heard he got a track with 50 and I wouldn't bet against him releasing that as a single. Think about it, wack or not, if Knoc goes on a track with 50 teenyboppers will take notice and cop his disk. I'm not saying I WANT Knoc to ''sell out'' like that, but to me it seems possible. Regardless, I see him moving a decent amount of units...
Oh, and of course IV Life are taking over the game for the 2000 plus IV! :D (That and Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit of course)
So, what about Daz? How do you guys see him doing this year over at So So ???

Knocturnal didnt even blow up when Dre was with him, hes a good artist for us to have out west, but he has reached his "peak" should I say, he at the top of his game and wont go further than this.

the MIC LORDS without a doubt, peace.

uh I think Spice 1 and MC Eiht are gonna drop Tha Murda Show album and blow everyone out the water, and bring that real shit back to tha airwaves. Ja Rule is gonna realize he could never make an album 1/8 that good, and he realizes his career is done for, so he shoots himself.
This is going to cause an tidel wave in the music industry and cause all the wack rappers to get wiped off the face of the earth, and all the real rappers with talent gonna step up. Jayo Felony is gonna come up and smack some bustaz off the microphone and let everyone know shit is about to change.
Since Snoop has made so much money he is gonna buy MTV, and he will put Tray Deee in charge of TRL, in hopes that Tray Deee will forgive him and make peace, because snoop is scared shitless of him. Tray Deee will change the name of it from Total Request Live to Tray Request Live. Now callers will speak directly with Tray Deee and request him the video you wanna hear. If you request some gay busta shit, then tray deee cusses you out like the punk bitch you are and hangs up.
Julio G will start his own radio station, and play nothin but westcoast rap. and instead of every rapper and his mother starting their own label, they will start up their own radio stations across the world. Finally talent such as Suga Free, tha chill, roscoe, strong arm steady, da low lifes, lil c-style, crooked I, bad azz, and more will be heard world wide.
Eminem, 50 Cent, G-Unit, Nelly, Lil Jon, Bone Crusher, Lil Bow wow, everyone at murder inc, fabulous, bone crusher, missy elliot will all get on a new reality tv show. It's called "who wants to be eaten by a great white shark!", and nobody wins, cause everybody gets eaten by a shark.
Yeah thats my predictions of 2004. and believe me, I have been known to tell the future.

Nas and Eminem will have big years like 2002.
Royce Da 5'9" and Ghostface will have great years too but just not the mainstream success the other two will have.

Personally, I think Daz could do quite well commercially this year with the backing of JD and the fact that he's already featured on Dupri's single for his latest album. That said, the quality of Daz's stuff may take a step back and become a little more radio friendly.
In terms of quality, I'll be checking for Bad Azz, IV Life, Eastsidaz (if it drops) and probably Knoc with a lot of other might-buys. I still doubt Dre will drop 'Detox' this year. I can see those 'Detox - Coming 2005' banners right now ;)
I hope Royce does well with his music, not so much with sales but that he delivers on quality. I have the original version of the 'Rock City' album (pretty rare now) and I didn't like how Columbia tried to craft him into a commercial MC. Then he came back with 'Rock City Version 2.0' and proved he could still craft dope music regardless of who it appeals to. So yeah, I think I'll pick up Royce's 'Death is Certain' when that's released.
2004 probably gonna be a good year, but may once again fail to meet people's expectations when it comes to releases...

yeah i see this as a important year for nas, not that he hasnt proved himself or anything, cuz his mad tite, jus cuz jay-z's left the scene, n niggaz will want something big from him this time round to........a got yourself a gun type first single, like a joint amped n shit would help!haha.......i can see 04 being a really big year for music on all coasts to be honest, snoop, xzibit, knock, game.......dre if he drops, sly boogie.....the south is gettin bigger n bigger.......east.......nas,busta,50,banks.........
u know this could be a big year for all coasts.......i agree with seer though, if the whole aftermath joint keep shit right n dont fuck up, their whole crew will come out on top....along with a few outsiders, like nas, busta n shit........im sure we'll get the usual suprises to and the one or two players who come out the game from nowhere n come big to.......04 looks dope

Ruff Ryders probaly won't put out much albums except for Hell & Back, The Rest Is History and maybe one or two more, but they'll say they were good because Jin will appeal a LOT to the people. He doesn't have one album out and he was like #13 in Elle's "Cutest guys" or something list.

Yeah. I will never forgive 100.3 the beat for firing him.

Most likely Shady/G-Unit/Aftermath. New Em, new 50, new Dre, Cube's album, The Game's album, maybe a Banks and Buck solo, etc.
-
defari, that fool claims he owns every year, even in years where he didnt even drop 1 fuckin verse

Me, just like 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, every year I've been conscious.
