boondocks a is a cartoon strip.. it covers the lives of some 2 kids who've moved from chicago to some white suburb somewhere.. lately its got a bit more political but thats dying down again.. it covers hiphop, poltitics, family race issues, n is just kinda funny :)

www.boondocks.net seems to be down now, but they have this nice pic up.

from left to right..

huey - the lead character, pretty deep. is a leftist poltical activist.  i think he's the guy that makes the strip  ;)

ceaser - kid from brooklyn.. hueys friend

granddad - funny guy, fill of wisecracks and keeps the kids in check.. see that belt he's holding. lol

riley - my fave character. hueys young delinquent brother.. obsessed with platinum chains and being a thug/gangsta/pimp (he's bad at it tho...)

jazmine - a mixed race girl, with a white mum, black dad.. huey teases her about her hair.. coz its like a fro..

you can subscribe to it by email daily here... http://www.ucomics.com/boondocks/index.phtml

i'm curious as to why a lot of the new boondocks site appears to be connected to sony... maybe a movie or something in the running.. i hope so. :)

I kind of stopped reading it when they got all political.

I always liked the comics cause they were kind of escape from all the political shit going on.

You say it's kind of died down tho?
