14. Trust No Man - Imp, Peace, Phish
Phish from Dr. Dre's "Chronic 2001" 4X Platinum LP
-
He did the chorus of "What's the difference?".....I don't understand why the track didn't say 'featuring Xzibit,Eminem & Phish'.......it isn't like he's just doing backing vocals there!

I dont understand either. ???

Phish played some instruments on "What's The Difference". And yes, it is the hippie group.
-
Actually, Dre or Mel-Man or both lifted the bass line from the old Phish song. An illegal sample that Dre had to pay $3M for.

Oh yes I think it is

Not That Phish
The liner notes to Dr. Dre's latest album, Dr. Dre 2001, credit "Phish" with backing vocals on the track "What's the Difference." However, it is not the Vermont-based quartet you're thinking of. "Phish" also happens to be the name of one of Dr. Dre's friends in the hip hop community.
