Title: Anyone like X-Clan?
Post by: Lincoln on February 09, 2004, 06:51:15 PM
I'm really digging their stuff. I'm having trouble finding their albums so I had to download some of their tracks ( :-[) and these guys are dope as hell. Hopefully I find the albums soon.

Anyone else like them?

Don't know the Coup but PE is my favorite rap group and Paris is one of my top 3 rappers. KRS-One is dope too.

I remember when my brother bought that XClan cd back in 89 or whatever and I listened to it way more than he did.

"This is protected by the red, the black, and the green, with the key! Sissy!!!!!"

I'm all about the politics, I plan on getting into politics in the next 10 years or so. I listen to Paris, Public Enemy, Kam, Common (kinda political, more afrocentric), KRS-One, X-Clan, Ice Cube, Da Lench Mob, Ras Kass (some of his earliest stuff) Mos Def, Talib Kweli Immortal Technique, dead prez.

I've only been into them for a few months but my fave at this point is Xodus (will probably change though).

Xodus is dope. I remember that track. It has that funky worm sample.

Mine would have to be "Grand Verbalizer What Time Is It"
