Title: Kurupt is really going Against The Grain isnt he!
Post by: KingRichard on February 11, 2004, 02:50:49 AM
Lets face it, he's coming out on Death Row with the backing of Suge, Danny Boy and Eastwood. Thats 3 people with the whole world looking at him as a "Switch", this project needs to be a good one for him, when you think about back in the day the whole Dogg Pound, Death Row, Dre etc would have been backing the album. He's done this on his own!

Man add 2Pac in the list. He's not a living member of Death Row, but he's on the album, so that's very good for sales. Plus add Kurupt's homies that are not signed to Death Row. They are the only 3 artists on Death Row, so he's having FULL SUPPORT from everybody on Death Row. Difference from the past is that now Death Row has just them 3 artists. Anyway i'd rather buy a Kurupt album WITHOUT Snoop but with the guests who are supposed to be on this album. It sounds tight. Let's hope it's hot.

It won't beat "Streetz Iz A Mutha". That was a classic in my eyes!!! Very under-rated album.

And there's more than 3 artists signed to Deathrow!!

Actually Crooked I left the label. So replace him with Spider or Kurupt's girl.

i agree with whoever said it wont beat tha streetz iz a mutha...that album is a classic (even though some dont agree). the beats were on point, kurupts flow was on point, his lyrics werent as bad as they are now (even though shut the fuck up bitch, eat a dick bitch isnt exactly good lyrics). the album was perfect. no skippable songs.

i am anticipating this album though. i mustve seriously been out of the loop because i had no idea pac was on this album. who are the other features on it? and when  is the official release date?

I'll be absolutely shocked if it's half as good as Streetz is a Mutha.

I would have prefered to see Kurupt still with DPG, and Crooked I for that matter. We would have had another good Kurupt album with Daz/Soopafly production, and would have a Crooked I album or at least some material released.

I'm would choose the DPG crooked release more than the deathrow one.

It will be an average album. Some heat on there but nothing to start a fire
