You can cop a 9800 pro for 220 bucks. If thats too much, you can find the 9600XT's for about 160 or so.

what's the difference between all this "pro" "all in wonder" "se" shit? they i'm looking for a model preferrably 9600 or above but they seem to have all that extra shit after the name

all in wonder - highest performance/price
pro - high performance
se - usually a more budget addition but still good

Actually, the xt's are the highest in peformance... the All In Wonders give you extras like tv tuners, and basically, anything you want to do with video editing.... But the all in wonders can be a part of the XT's, the Pro's ect. Like you can get a 9800 Pro All In Wonder, or a 9800XT All In Wonder. So if you want a card that you can watch tv thru your moniter, or edit vhs, dvd, ect... the all in wonder would do you well. If you are looking for straight up gaming, or watching dvds on your cpu, then don't pay the extra 50 to 100 bucks for the all in wonder. The XT and Pro extensions are both better than the SE, or just the plain number. From best to worse... here is how it would go on a 9600...

(best)9600XT
9600 Pro
9600
(worst)9600SE

You can buy any one of those cards with the all in wonder features for like I said earlier about 50 to 100 bucks. But I wouldn't recommend it unless you are going to turn your cpu into an entertainment center.
