Title: Lucifer/Dirt Off Your Shoulder
Post by: Don Breezio on February 17, 2004, 12:48:28 PM
am i the only one who thinks these songs are horrible? lucifer has good lyrics but the beat & the sample is annoying as shit...and the lyrics on doys are terrible "if you feelin like a pimp nigga go on brush your shoulders off"  ::), he had like a serious 50 cent moment there. i dont understand what everyone thinks is so great about these songs. i think they are some of the worst jay-z has ever done.

I like the beat for "Dirt off your shoulder" but I do agree that "Lucifer" sample gets really annoying.

i like lucifer and i love the beat to dirt off your shoulder but it really doesn't suit jay z at all if only he had given to MOP they would have ripped it, i'm waiting on that remix

Doys has a sick ass beat but ok "50 cent like" lyrics, i like lucifer a lot tho, the beat is  original and great lyrics, not even close to my fav on the album

Love Lucifer dont feel Dirt off Your Shoulder at all, the only track I skip when listening to The Black Album, well prob Change Clothes too.

I dunno I just dont feel Tim's beats, very southern and repetative for my liking.

The Last verse of LUCIFER is one of His Tightest Verses ever, in my opinion.
But DOYS is Horrible, it just figures that that would be the new single since how disgusting that song is.

and whats even worse is that everyone walks around saying "wipe that DOYS"
