Roughly a decade after Illmatic's initial release, Nas is scheduled to drop a platinum edition to commemorate the timeless LP's 10th anniversary.

The set will include remixes of classics like "Halftime," "It Ain't Hard To Tell" and "The World Is Yours" along with two unreleased songs. The first cut, "Chizzled" will be released as a single in late March.

In addition to the anniversary disc, Nas has also been recording for his 7th LP which is scheduled to be released later this year. But before God's Son fans get to hear new material, they will be treated to the second installment of the forgotten tracks, The Lost Tapes 2.

Illmatic's 10th anniversary edition hits stores on March 30.
