Yeah, gonna be having a pancake feast tonight me thinks. A few ham and cheese ones, a few with lemon and sugar, and then finishing with a couple with ice cream ;D

Pancakes

Serves 4

Ingredients:
4oz (100g) of Plain Flour
1 egg
1/2 pint (0.25 litre) of milk
A pinch of salt
Butter
Sugar

Put the flour and salt in a bowl and add the egg into the middle. Pour in about a third of the milk. Stir gently, adding a little more milk in the process. Beat the mixture thoroughly (in english:get a fork and mix it with the fork held flat), then add the rest of the milk. Stir well, then pour into a jug.

Melt a small piece of butter in a frying pan, then add a couple of tablespoons of the batter. Tip the frying pan to spread the mixture evenly. Fry until the underside is brown then toss the pancake.

Scrape the mess from the dropped pancake off the floor, then start again. This time, when the underside is brown turn it over with a fish slice or a knife and cook the other side.

Tip the finished pancake onto a plate and cover with whatever you want.


Worked for me earlier, damn those were some great pancakes. Trust me, don't try to flip the pancake, I thought it would work, but it did just cause a mess.

ihop is serving like unlimited pancakes for awhile now. like as much as you can eat, three or four at a time..

hahah prince servin pancakes in the dave chapelle show. hilarious..

always prefer waffles though.

Btw we dont got that pancakes day here in Denmark, so i dont really know what the fuck it is!!
