Title: "The Way I Am" vs "The New Testament"?
Post by: Lil Jay on February 25, 2004, 03:33:23 PM: Suga Free "The New Testament" vs Knoc-Turn'als "The Way I Am". These 2 are probably the two biggest west coast albums droppin next...just wondering how people feel, and what you're anticipating more. For me its The new Testament for sure cause its been too long since Free dropped a solo record...but its very close though cause i cant wait to hear em both

Hel's nah. His flow is sick as hell to me, and his voice is funny and is tite. His lyrics are all about pimpin...just as G-Unit's are all about murder, how Akinyeles is all about fuckin, and how Lil Jon is about nothin at all. He is the best pimp rapper by far....Too short may be more legendary, but when it comes to spittin pimp rhymes, Suga Free gets on em. His flow gets a bit annoyin when he is off beat, but when he flows off beat then jumps back on beat, it's dope as hell. On "Don't fight the pimpin" his flow is damn near amazing...especailly how he transitions from "Now who u talkin to like that don't question me ho, u the bitch in kindergarden that got her mouth washed out with soap/ Yo i'm a pimp i'm from pomona i got game i got class, i got sucker repellent on me homie i'll beat yo ass" - the lyrics may not be stellar but the way he flows it makes u press rewind over and over.
