Title: Def Jam West, what artists are on it?

Now, I have no clue what the deal is here. I heard Warren G was head of it in 95, now its WC or something?

WHats the deal with Def Jam West? whos on the label?

If they released more shit, Cali would come back. Cause Def Jam is and always will be HIP HOP.

i dont think WC is still on def jam
def jam  will probably never release westcoast cd again..... :'(

I know for sure that W.C. is no longer with Def Jam. He said in an interview which I think was with WestCoastAftershock (http://www.bayridaz.com/wca) that he parted ways with them after he felt that the ''Ghetto Heisman'' records sales were dissapointing and were not as good as he had hoped. I THINK he also mentioned that a lack of promotion was a problem. Anyways, I definately remember hearing that there was no ill feeling between Dub and Def Jam and he was still on good terms with the staff there. Maybe Def Jam West doesn't exist anymore? On my copy of the ''Ghetto Heisman'' there is no Def Jam West logo, just the original one for Def Jam.

Right now, I think there are no artists signed to Def Jam West.

Previous artists included Richie Rich, Jayo Felony, Dove Shack, Twinz, 5 Footaz.

Dont forget BG Knocc Out and Dresta, they also released stuff on DefJam.

True, they fucked up every west coast release except "Regulate...A G-Funk Era."  Hell, they didn't even release the 5 Footaz album!

Def Jam Dosen't Spend Any money on ther west coast artist.  Promotion wise.  They didn't really promote the WC album that well nor didi they promote there past west coast artist.  Damb those dude didn't promote the Fix Album By Scarface.  But Look How much money the spend on Joe Budden, I bet he coulden't Pay back His Advance.  I Don't know thats what i think.  But anyway Fuck Def Jam, Stay Independent...
