I swear I saw Daz in this dudes video... and is this dude the same guy who was on snoop's "whatever" ... at the end of that song he says.... "who am I, J-Kwon".... i think that's what he says

There was a thread about this over at WC Rydaz and somebody confirmed that Daz is in this guy's video. A lot of people agreed so it probably is him. Good publicity for Daz I guess.
To answer your second question I don't think this is the same dude who was on ''Whatever''. I'm pretty sure that rapper was saying ''J Chron'' - I could swear I've seen that name credited on another Snoop song I know, besides ''Whatever''. Maybe off of one of the ''...Chuuch'' mixtapes or something. Ah well, can't remember at the moment but hopefully this info helps you out.

yup. daz is just about in every second of this video. hes behind j-kwon every second. cos jkwons on so so def too.
-
Yeah, it's Daz. Good to see him on TV again.
-
Haha @ Daz. He gets his chubby cheeked face in as much as he can throughout the video.
-
Cant for his releases on so so def :o
-
LMAO @ Daz.... ;D
Dope beat but......J-Kwon?
Danm!!! Daz has fallen to depths unknown.

Daz would appear in a christina agulara or Justin Timberlake video if he had the chance. He is a sellout.
-
its not a big deal J-Kwon is the new SoSo Def Artist he's album is coming soon , since Daz is on so so def too i think its normal for him to be in every so so def project so people will know who he is.
-
I watched that video,and I swear I didn't see daz anywhere in there...just kidding.

? the songs on heavy rotation all over radio and TV, what depths are you talking about? I suppose Kurupt, Eastwood and Danny Boy are the real westcoast representers huh ::)

J-Kwons single is blowing up here in LA. And you gotta admit.. that beat is pretty knockin. Cant help but nod my head in the car when it comes on. The song is hot, Kwon rep's the new generation of hip hop and its a good move for Daz to be associated with that. Im excited to see what Daz and JD can cook up. People hate on this move but I think it'll be good for the West. If this connection is successful it could mean work for other starving WC artists. Daz sucks for jackin money (no excuse) but at least hes working on a big label album. Gangstaz gotta eat too and as the saying goes.. "dont work.. dont eat!"

if J-kwon is the next generation of hip-hop then RIP rap....the whole "Tipsy" thing is wack. The video is a rip off of "Gin and Juice" video, and the beat is a rip off of "Grindin" by The Clipse. Not to mention the lyrics are wack. Only reason I give it a chance is because girls in the club love wack shit

hahaha.. I KNEW I WOULD GET SOMEBODY HEATED! Exactly what I wanted to do. The term "hot" is used to indicate how well received the song is by the public. Cant deny, the single is doing well. I wont be runnning out and buying Kwons album just like I didnt run out and buy Young Bloods.. but their album (in the publics eye) was hot. If Daz had appeared in their video, it wouldve been a good promo move for him. THATS ALL homie.. no harm no foul.. just playing devils advocate.

shit, fell for your trap :( the song is doing well publically, but I can't stand the song, too typical and flat out boring
but the thing about Daz in that video is that no rap fan today knows who the fuck Daz is. In the public's eyes, he's some dude from his crew. It's sad, since 10 years ago Dogg Pound was #1 on countdowns and all over the place

Yes! "Errrbody in the club gettin' tipsy!" That shit had the club K-N-O-C-K-I-N' this weekend.

Seems like it's a catch 22 for Westcoast rap fans...
if Artist A isn't selling: "It's the music industry's fault that the west dosen't sell. Fuck people who don't know good music"
If Artist A is making moves to sell: "What a sellout. He needs to keep it real"

I completely disagree. WC had an album back by a major, ghetto heisman, yet he didn't sell out, same with quik, same with warren g, same with cypress hill, same with e-40, same with many artists.

the dude at the end of snoops song name is Johnny Chronic

this is what daz has come to...very sad 8)

Its no different to Game being in G-Units video really, and y'all got major amped about that claiming they should have his name above his head or some shit so people knew who he was. He's on the same label, so hes bound to be in the video. If you wanna look at it like that Mack 10 was in a few Big Tymers videos, and none of y'all clowned him. Its just what happens in the industry.

it's a lot different considering 9 years ago Daz and Kurupt were all over MTV when Dogg Food dropped. Their vids were #1 on MTV countdowns, and they even performed on that MTV show "The Grind" back in the day. When Dogg Food dropped, Daz was already on albums that had sold (at the time) probably 5-6 million copies. Game hasn't done shit in the rap game yet.
