a small glitch on 'never gonna give it up'?
towards the end of the song when nate's doin his thing, there's a small pause where the music cuts out in the middle of nate's line where he says "...come on homies give it {skip} up..." ....at first i thought i had a messed up cd until i heard it on another streetz cd at the exact same moment as mine and i was trippin...i've heard it on like 3 discs now...i wonder if it's a first pressing error ?!?!?

I think mines had that too. Couldn't check though cuz my cuzzin jacked me a minute ago and still hasn't given it back to me. She probably lost it.

yeah i've had like 3 different copies of that cd and everyone of them have had that...it sucks cuz thats my favorite kurupt track.

Yeah, it's on mine... It's like the skip on WC's album - that's a 'lose-your-job' fuck up as far as I'm concerned. Someone should spot that shit.

would you be talkin about the skip on Ghetto Heisman? track Tears of a Killa?
if so , then your unlucky, cuz they pulled those versions from the shelves and corrected the error and re sold, cuz that cd is all cool for me

LOL, I got a funny story for ya.
I originally bought this album the day it came out, and the cd was fine. after about a year tho, my roomate borrowed it and lost it, so I went and got another one. Well it had that glitch that you were talking about, but I waited like a week before I took it back to the store. I got in a huge argument with the guy at the store and he just kept telling me that he couldn't do anything about it cause there were scratches on it.(I take very good care of my cd's, and the only marks on this cd were just from moving it from cd player to cd player, they were nothing, definately would not cause it to skip) so I kept telling him how it skipped the very first time I played it, but he just wouldn't believe me. So I left and came back again a few days later, and it was the same guy workin, and we argued again, and nothin. so I left and again came back a few days later, and a much cooler guy was workin and he switched the cd's no problem. but before I left this time, I told the guy to open up the cd and fastfoward to the spot where it skipped on the other cd, and sure enough it skipped again. So they ended up ordering a new bunch, and finally I got a flawless cd, and that one guy sure musta felt like a jackass.
so yeah, there musta been a bad batch, but fuck that, I want my shit flawless, and flawless is what I get.

I know my ''Ghetto Heisman'' CD is skip free - I still bump that record all the time! :D
Hmm...never noticed a skip on my Kurupt album either, although I haven't played it in a while. I'm gonna give ''Neva Gonna Give it Up'' a spin tonight and see if I notice the error that was mentioned. Mine might not be a 'first print' though...could be a later pressing.

same thing happened with me and the WC cd. again I took it right back to the store, and again they didn't believe me. but I just stood there and argued with them and told them I wasn't gonna leave till I got my money back. They refunded me just to get me out of there, but they still thought I was trying to scam them, LOL. Its funny how a customer gets fucked over, and then when they try to correct the problem at the store, the customer is seen as an asshole. The customer is always right....yeah right ::)

Nah, never even brought the album, just heard about it. I find it useful to base most arguments I make around things I've only heard from third party sources ;D

I want my shit flawless, and flawless is what I get.
Hell yeah, especially if its skipping on a good track. Both ''Tears of a Killa'' and ''Neva Gonna Give it Up'' are probably some of my favourite tracks from both albums.

hehe, i had the same problem the day i was buyin it back in 1999. I bought the us import here in germany and it had this skit at 4:29 or something, I was three times at my local cd store to refund it, but all cds had this skip. Then I was waiting for the EU release of that album, bought it and what was going down? the whole fuckin album is censored. I was so pissed, again I refund that cd. Then I was tryin ebay to get the flawless version and final I have it now. I also bought a rerelease for some dollars, it had no skip but it also had not the hidden bonus track Callin Out Names. Fuck it, now I have 2 copies of that album, lol.

Same here...but I don't understand why:on the front cover, it has the parental advisory thing, so I have no clue why it's censored. And the fucked up thing is...it's not even "good" uncensored, it leaves little parts away from the next words. >:(

Yeah, its a mistake of the european printfactory, ther printed the clean version as explicit version all over Europe. So if you want to have it uncensored you need to get the US Import, its still available, but now the copies dont have the bonus track callin out names, if you want that version, try ebay.com, there you might find it.

Heh I must be pretty lucky then. I'm in the UK and got the european version - no skips(I checked ''Neva Gonna Give it Up'' the other day to make sure it was error free), it certianly isn't the censored version and its got the bonus track. And I got it for £5 which for a brand new CD you can't complain about. I doubt mine was a USA import for that cheap so it MUST be a European version. Still, I'm sure I've heard other copies of this CD that are the same as mine so I don't think all EU copies are ''faulty''. Maybe certain countries ???
